this is what i figured was holding it up... i know i would rather wait an extra day or so to get some gingerbread love in 2.4!!

I don't see how much could come of it, it was just the SDK released today and not the source.

does anyone have worse battery life since 2.2.1 has been being used on roms cause UD 8 was 2.2 and i could go a day and a half to 2 days without charging now with 2.2.1 most i can get is 16 hours and thats with zero use. Anyone else notice this?

I also noticed it on UD8. I hope its the same way on the new release!

i flashed ud 8 a few days ago just to test it and it has better battery life...hopefully 2.4 will have improved battery life.

I have completely updated it and it is ready for 2.4. All i need to do is edit some framework stuff once it comes out.

currently 1.2 ghz slayher but ive used chevy kernels to and all diffrent levels even the stock kernels on 2.2.1 draw more battery then on 2.2
