honestly i have no use for it so i remove it as well...along with stock browser, corpcalender, dev tools, stock email app, stock messaging app, the 2.1 genie widget, google voice, slideshow widget and google talk....

runs awesome...i have 42 apps installed in memory with this ROM, i also delete all launchers but the one im using...

I have 211mb internal memory right now

is there anyway to add a script after you have removed it? I removed the themed helix2 but would like to add it back now if possible. addhelix2 returned a "not found". I can download it from the market but would like the themed one if possible.

For app backup and restore, how do you restore your apps with your script before you sign into the market if you have to sign into the market to get terminal emulator?

terminal emulator is already on the phone before you sign into the market or you can do it on adb shell on your computer if you have the sdk set up.

Where did you hear that? I will still be working on them. Rom manager has the same version you would get here on the forum.

Glad to hear. Thought I read that on CM's forums. I'm thinking of putting red on today. Seems like people with red are having signal lose issues. Can you confirm this?

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm double wiped the data and cache and now the red rom (not red rum) is working great.

BTW, do you or anyone know if there is a way to get rid of the car dock app/screen? Thanks for all of your hard work.

I just updated to v7 from v6.
Has anyone noticed if you can set individual ringtones for contacts?
I have a general ringtone that plays, and I chose individual ones for certain ppl.
Well no matter who calls the general ringtone plays even though I chose a ringtone specific for that person.

This used work in the past.
Maybe I need to choose a option that defaulted to???

You have to do this in contacts, click on contact, click your contact and goto OPTIONS and then you can set up a seperate ringtone per contact. and you can also switch if you want this person to go straight to voicemail or not... dam android rules!

If you have the super user permissions app showing in your applications, you already have root access. If you're needing to run a script through terminal emulator and it is not working first type su and then hit enter and then run your script. Hope that helps.

Yeah the app doesnt even show up. i cant use su in terminal it says permission denied bc i have no super user app
