I chose the 1100mhz kernal when installing, but set cpu only says max 600...
Any ideas???

Quick question. I can install apps from the market but I cant use any other installer (eoeappinstaller) to install other programs. Even Astro cant restore my backups. EOE just fc's and I've run the permissions fix. So does anyone have any ideas I can try?

Select auto detect in setcpu, not your device.

that's really weird man.. I really wish I had more time to look into small problems.

For now my to do list for a small update is as follows:

-build latest adw launcher
-add kangerade scripts app w/ some more options (from canvs)
-all apps 2sd
-fix some script issues
-update spare parts
-fix location issues w/ genie widget and other apps
-fix adb remount issues

What else is there? Please post common bugs and not personal issues though. I will try my best to resolve everyones issue so just be patient.

Live Wallpapers slow down my phone to beyond unacceptable levels. Choppiness everywhere in the UI. I experienced this with BB FroYo v0.1 as well.

Is this is an issue with FroYo, my phone, or these ROMs?

Other than that, kangerade v1.0 is blazing fast on P3Droids 1GHz 125mhz..

FWIW, my news and weather widget still has June 16th news, etc on it. I reloaded the widget and acquired location and it downloaded but didn't change. I'm wondering if this is a Google issue........

It is a Google issue. People who have not rooted their phones are experiencing the same issue. (See thread on this.)

JRum, the white with clock download in the OP shows that it is downloading Blue_with_clock.... That isn't right is it??

I have a new problem now. I uninstalled the ROM last night, and I went back into ROM manager to do install again. This time, after I do the downloads...I get an error in the activation screen. The error says that the activation wizard or w/e has forced closed and can't continue. Then I can't go anywhere and I have to do the recovery to go back to my old ROM. Any ideas on what I should do? I do a wipe and clear download cache...any suggestions? Maybe selecting the wrong kernel? I wanted to try Chevy low voltage....not sure if that is the culprit.

Same here and for another guy at work. I ran the first leaked 2.2 with no problem. Then switched to Bugless Beast with no problems. Then JRummy and I get the error. I reinstalled and still got it. I then wiped every single partition twice and reinstalled again - still not working. Kind of a deal breaker so I'll have to go back to Bugless Beast. Too bad, this one sounded decent. I am on the latest stable baseband C_01.43.01P, but I have to imagine everyone else is too.

It could be an issue w/ my theme port.. what theme are you using?

Jrummy - this sooo NOT your problem! I'm wiping & going back to your ROM again. I spent my night & this morning wiping & changing ROMs and kernels, only to find that the news & weather wouldn't work on ANYTHING.
So a co-worker finds out this morning that Palmary, the news provider, is still fighting a DDoS attack. If the phone already has your location, your fine. If not, you won't get it work. HA! It's causing mayhem all over the Droid community.

I've always had around ~100MB+ free before :icon_eek: (I've always used your remix ROMs)

JRummy First I would like to thank you for all your hard work and dedication that you put into the Droid community. I am having some issues with the Foyo ROM and was wondering if anyone can stear me in the right direction or give me any advice. I am currently BB V 1.1 for the fourth time. I have downloaded the 2.2 Rom four times using rom manager the install goes through fine. I have tried four different kernels. The first three kept freezing up my phone and turning it off on the fourth one I tried the Blue ROM and let it sit for about an hour before I touched it and it worked fine for a bit. Then today after restarting my phone I let it sit for an hour and it started freezing again and had to pull batt a couple of times. I went back to BB but would like to be using 2.2. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
