6-14 [ROM] Froyo Kangerade V1.0 *Blazing fast, 7 Theme options, many extras*

I'm posting this again cause i need help:

something rather troublesome: I've used scripts via the emulator for a while, but since i installed the script GUI thing (though I'm not sure its related) I type su, get the pound symbol and type scripts but i get an error back

so:
#scripts
sh: scripts: Permission denied
/#

note: if the ongoing notification for music doesnt work, it is related to the framework/services files, NOT the actual music app (i can also post up working versions of those)

Would love to get that. Annoying not to be able to see playing music in notification. I am on nextheme if it matters.

Hey I wasn't to update to this froyo rom but I don't want to update my baseband is it fine to flash this rom without the newest baseband?

I tried to install a 2.2 rom without updating baseband and I didn't get past the Motorola login but maybe it was a kernal issue.

I have not updated my baseband and have had no issues.

I agree, it sounds like a bad update file. I'd suggest going one step further and downloading the update file on a PC, then transferring it to the SD card and trying it that way, just to make sure you have the best chance of getting a good download.

I always download and put on sd card. The Rom Manager takes too freakin long. So maybe the blue theme download link is bad. I will try Rom manager today.

Ok complete noob here and my first post

What does the free50, 75, and 100mb scripts do? Meaning what do I get in return for running these scripts? Do I get more internal memory storage?? Thanks

what is the name of the stock font included with this ROM? I love it, but can't pin down the name.

I believe it's called stock....look at your scripts and I think it's easy to find. I like it too....I switched to different ones but the basic droid font is the most readable to me.

Jrummy,

My market is running painfully slow. I wiped data and everything. I have tried to fix the permission 4 times now but it still runs slow.

also i get a message in the rom manager that says that my rom is not set to recieve automatic updates please contact the rom manager. Please advice.

thanks,

Tinashe.

Jrummy,

My market is running painfully slow. I wiped data and everything. I have tried to fix the permission 4 times now but it still runs slow.

After I installed this rom and did a restore of my applications (Coming from BB.1 Froyo), it seemed to restore all my apps. But if you went into the market, it was super slow and only my paid apps showed in the download window. What I ended up doing was uninstalling my paid apps (only have 5 of them), then rebooted the phone. Once it came back up, I went back to the market and downloaded my apps instead of restoring them from backup. This cleared up the market issues and all my apps, free and paid, showed up in the downloads section.

hope this helps you.

Ok another problem... after I installed the blue version, I also installed ROM manager, backed up the ROM with ROM manager, and SetCPU. I set the CPU to 800 mhz, and I ran the free75mb script. That is all i have done. Now my droid shuts down and reboots itself about ever 30 mins or so... Help?

Try setting SetCPU to 700Mhz max and see if that works. You can also try a new kernal, look for them through ROM manager or here P3 Designs Froyo Kernals I would try a LV kernal and test for stability before going to a ULV. The kernal is everything though, with the 700Mhz P3 my Droid would freeze every 8-10 seconds and it was maddening so I got a kernal from ROM Manager from JDLFG which is an 800Mhz and it cleared up my issues.
