6-14 [ROM] Froyo Kangerade V1.0 *Blazing fast, 7 Theme options, many extras*

Try setting SetCPU to 700Mhz max and see if that works. You can also try a new kernal, look for them through ROM manager or here P3 Designs Froyo Kernals I would try a LV kernal and test for stability before going to a ULV. The kernal is everything though, with the 700Mhz P3 my Droid would freeze every 8-10 seconds and it was maddening so I got a kernal from ROM Manager from JDLFG which is an 800Mhz and it cleared up my issues.

Thanks, I was going to try a new kernel next, but wanted someone to suggest it first to confirm my logic

What is a good 800 mhz kernel to use with this ROM. I just flashed one from JKLFG and it did not work at all

Why is the Jrummy section of rom mananger back in the paid section? was the free thing only temporary?

Some guy complained about how more stuff was free and that it wasn't fair for others who already paid for the app so koush decided to move everyone again :( . He might interchange who is in the free section weekly though.

Thanks for trying to help with that error, sorry I didn't respond I had already passed out. I was just worried I lost root privileges or something like that.

Lame. Don't see why people can't think of paying for the premium as "support" or "thanks" for the program and the on going work, rather than a "paid" service. You can get all the things in the Premium section for free elsewhere anyway, so really kinda a dumb thing to complain about.

Just use the one that comes with the ROM as it is 800Mhz. Personally I've found using the stock kernel is 5x better then using any of the others on the float. And IMO there is no need to have it higher then 800Mhz when using Froyo. And with that said battery life is so much better. First full charge after flashing JR's Cyan build I pulled jus tunder 30hrs before I had to charge. Mine you is was a very light data usage day as I was busy. However I had 2 majorly long calls of at least 45mins each and a boatload txt msgs, and gtalks going

@Jrummy just a quick FYI there was a Maps update again today to take it to version 4.3 but if fails to install on your builds.

Thanks, I was having a problem with my phone rebooting itself and thought it was the kernel, but I figured it out.

Getting all/most apps to SD takes a simple script that will be available in the update for later today. However, Froyo a2sd does not work like cm/Chris Soyars a2sd. For now you have to move the apps in settings to SD.

You have to excuse me but what is cm/Chris Soyars and whats the difference?

Thanks

Anyone know of a way to upgrade the ADW Launcher that comes with the rom to the latest version? I know you can download it in the market but I don't want both versions on my phone.
