[6-22] Froyo Kangerade V1.1 - 10% Battery, GUI for scripts, All a2sd option, 7 Themes

ran the Music_fix_update post a few pages back and just FYI for those with the issue, did work for however installed the stock Music app with the "speaker" icon not the modified version I lost

Another quirk;

Yesterday I went to a restaurant and all of a sudden my internet connection completely disappeared. The 3g indicator was gone and I could not access any data. I had 4 bars of reception and was able to make calls. I checked the data settings, all were good. I rebooted the phone, no joy. I reflashed the kernel (Chevy's 7slot ULV), still not working. When I reflashed Kangerade it started working again. Then I reflashed Chevy's kernel and it has still been working fine since. It would appear that the ROM was the problem (because reflashing the kernel didn't affect it). But unless someone else has this issue I'll just consider it "one of those things". Yes, I had wiped data and cache twice before my initial Kangerade install. I've also had one or two random reboots but overall I really like this ROM and consider it very stable.

run that fix kangerade update.zip in rom manager. I also put it up in a thread here in my section.. might have gotten barried though.

Sorry but I can't find it going back through the pages. Would you mind identifying the post number for the fix?

TIA!!!

Just a quick review: 1.1 is working awesome for me... see sig for what I am running but I woke up this morning to 90% battery and the rom is running super smooth for me. Keep up the good work Jrummy! :D

Still running Kangerade V1.0 (running excellent) and don't know what to do. Since the new FROYO source code has been released will you be making a new ROM based on that? If so, thinking about sticking with v1.0 until that comes out.

Also, I know there was a script posted a few times that V1.0 users should use before updating to V1.1 in relation to Google Maps, but what about 1.0 users who have already upgraded to that newest version of Google Maps? Do they still need to do the script before upgrading to 1.1?

And finally if you are going to release a new version of Kangerade with the new FROYO source code, can you give us any ETA?:)dancedroid

Hi all, first off i have to say that i love this rom. I just wanted to ask a question. Im not sure what is going on but i installed an app, turned off my phone, turned it back on, and now the app does not appear in the app tray. It still shows up when i do a search, it is just not in the app tray. HELP!

Daggonit, I hate being the guy that misses the big posted fix. In my defense, I have read ALL 60 pages of this thread and I only missed the fix in Rom Manager because you have to scroll to see it. :) Thanks JRummy.

It depends on the app you installed. Some apps won't show up in the app drawer if they're not stand-alone. What app did you install and did you get it from the market?

well heres my opinion on this rom, i had v1.0 and loved it no issues at all, loved how i could just change the dial shortcut into the messaging icon, the v1.1 runs even faster cuz i overclocked it more, but battery life took a slight hit, also could not change the phone icon to the messaging one, the screen wouldnt turn anymore without the keyboard being slid out, other than those rom is stable
