Battery charge issues

I let my phones battery die completely. Now when I plug it in to charge, it keeps bringing the screen on to tell me the battery is at 5%. It wont stop doing this so it cant charge! It's been plugged in for over an hour and its still at 5%. I cant even shut it off. It just reboots and starts doing the same thing! Any advice???

Running Kangerade V1.1 strawberry. Smooth and sweet as well as blazing fast. This is the only problem I've encountered.

In rom manager the froyo goodies folder does not download?! it give message saying error cannot download. why is this? even on this forum i cant download the file!!

I'm getting this too. Dunno if its an RM problem or what. Thanks for the great ROM Jrummy!

i figured more people use jrummys rom use metamorph, than metamorph users use jrummys rom so i think heres the best to ask. i found this link at xda talking about changing the lock screen so the lock circles are invisible, that way people dont try a million times to unlock since they wont even know where to lock. it says to do it with stock roms only, will this mess up 1.1 if i install this?

It might mess up, it's a difficult thing to tell when you're in a development environment like this. If you really want this, my best advice is to do a nandroid backup and try it out.

Let me know if this works...I think you can also do this with the Home++ launcher though

Can someone give me the TE commands to move and rename apps? For example.....

I have a themed version of setcpu on my sd and I want to push it to /system/app and overwrite the current (unthemed) version.

I would also like to get the commands to move an app from /data/app to /system/app and rename it...

example....

com.fede.launcher-1.apk from /data/app to launcherpro.apk in /system/app

I have tried some commands that others use with different roms and I type ....

su (enter)
sysrw (enter)....

and that's where I stop, sysrw is not recognized and I get an error....

it works only when you have none (disable screen unlock) selected. so on my unlock screen the time is in the upper part, and the bottom part of the screen is blank. i have to slide my finger to the right (no pattern/pin). when i select the pattern one, the pattern dots still appear, so its as if metamorph didnt change anything. i wouldnt want a pin/password on there so i didnt try those options because itll be way to hard on a blank screen. im gonna try some more metamorph ones that were on that link.

edit: if you have vibrate on, the vibrate circle is still on the lock screen since this was for 2.1.

Cannot wait for that theme. Jrummy Strawberry with Chevy ULV 1.2 and my phone is smoother than it's ever been. Battery life is better than it's ever been. Thanks Jrummy. I will NOT be flashing over to the new BB 'cause I'm pretty sure my phone can't run better than it already is.

I need to use the market update install option, because it isnt seeing or searching for known apps.

go into settings in RM and erase recovery, then re-flash recovery of choice and you should be good

Does someone have a fix for the mrket? I can download apps/updates but it just sits at 100% and never installs. I click cancel download then download again, same thing. Its extrmelrly frustrating, please help.

I have had this problem with every Froyo rom so far from the first leak to Kangerade. The way I solve it is to go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Market, force stop, clear cache and if THAT doesn't work, do it again, but also clear data.

Eventually apps always install. Pain in the butt, but I assume once Froyo is actually released we won't have so many Market issues.

It depends on the app you installed. Some apps won't show up in the app drawer if they're not stand-alone. What app did you install and did you get it from the market?

The have actually tried this on multiple apps from the market, one of which being shazam, and i always get the same result. after i restart, the app is no longer in the app tray. Anybody have any ideas as to what is going on?

Check to make sure it's not on your SD card... Check under settings>apps>manage apps>select SD card top right tool bar

If any of them are there click on the app and hit move to phone.

Had same issue with Google Sky and the Droid Life app always going on SD card after reboot even though I didn't enable it with scripts. For some reason the launcher doesn't like the apps on the SD

After I moved them back to phone they showed up even after several reboots

love this rom, only issue i have is when pressing the center button on the launcher, the page fades in then back out
