I did it from clockworkmod revocery power button boot into recovery

curious did you make a back up of stock rooted

I applied the data fix and followed the instructions but wifi still does not work. I noticed no change in behavior. Any ideas? Anything else i can try?

Turn off wifi, run a fix permissions in rom manager, and reboot

Thanks Jackpot, but that didn't work either. I had tried it already and just tried it again. No luck. However I want to point out something that may help. Both before the datafix and after my wifi problem has involved an issue with keeping wifi on. For example, I click to enable wifi, it says it's turning on, but then says its turning off. However at times it will stay on but I can't get to the internet. Have you seen this before?

that's very strange. are other settings sticking? like if you go to display and then check off auto-screen rotation, does it remain checked if you visit it again?

i had no luck either, i get that wifi is connected and a light grey indicator and then it goes away and nothing

Jackpot, my settings are not sticking and I forgot to tell you I am on 4.6.8 and I am using 1013
