[ROM] [6/6/2012] CM7 for the Droid Pro based on GB

I'd just like to add that there were some problems switching between wifi and 3g on gsm that are very similar to what we experienced on cdma before the fixdataswitch thing. Not 100% sure it's been fixed

But, about this issue, Did you change anything, from previous build? Because in my pro, with previous build, I've always this issue...
Thank you!

Anyone know how to disable the green charging LED? I want to be able to see LED notifications while charging and this blocks that, plus it's SUPER bright at night.

Google search brings this up: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1116909
and the response was "not that I know of"... surely this should just be a setting? I've been digging in settings for a while but couldn't find anything about that.

I have scoured the led settings as well and haven't been able to figure this out either. I was able to pick colors and frequency for various notifications, but no way to shut of the charging led indicator.

If anyone else can figure this out I would much appreciate it as well.

And while we're at it, I would like to shut off the light that around the micro-usb port that lights up when changing the phone (and then turns off when the battery is charged). That light is annoyingly bright as well.

I'm noticing a couple similar issues... Can't seem to get Wifi and Mobile Data to work at the same time, and it's a little finicky jumping between the two. I've also noticed that the mobile data appears to stop functioning and I have to turn mobile data back off and then on again. I wonder if there is a app out there that could do a periodic ping of some type, and if it fails then it resets whatever the active connection is (wifi or mobile).

I will have to admit that I was in awe with that light when I first saw it... Why they would even bother to put a light around the usb port makes no sense to me. I might understand it if it was lit when there was nothing plugged in, so you could see where it goes, but to light up while it's charging is just strange. Definitively having a green charging LED and the usb Light is a bit redundant (and this coming from a person who's previous phone had NO notification lights at all).

On a side note, I've noticed the keyboard light seems a bit random. Sometimes it's on, sometimes it isn't, sometimes it'll just turn off and not come back on without me playing with the brightness settings. Shouldn't the keyboard light be on when the screen is on, or am i missing some setting somewhere?

On gsm, for now, switching from wifi and gsm (edge) i didn't have any issue! I didn't try with 3g. I've also power off with wifi on!

Edit: Without any real motive, my wifi now is "broken" again (no reboot, no poweroff, no anything!)... Ufff....
Jackpot always thank you! Your rom is very, very fast.. But my wifi is very stupid....
Where can I find for resolving this issue, give me any suggestions, please...

Mine is.. the brightness of the keyboard light also follows the screen brightness, which is great. It was random when I was still on the stock GB update, but after CM7 it's working great.

Mine seemed to be fine also, if I change the brightness the keyboard will change with it. The problem occurs after about 5 minutes of being on, it'll turn itself off and turning the screen off and on doesn't seem to affect it until i change the brightness again. I'll play with it again when it's dark :)

I know I've asked this a few times and haven't yet gotten a response... BUT, I would like to try these new builds as they are released.

I can't get my Mac to "see"/discover my Droid Pro when I plug it in via USB. Obviously it used to recognize the phone before, seeing as I was able to root and ROM.

I've tried all the settings - charge only/memory card access/portal & tools - to no avail. I've restarted both phone and computer multiple times... still no luck.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks!

Not a solution but maybe a workaround, I don't use a mac (well, other then the mac mini I have that runs boxee, but not as a real pc). A workaround though would be to put the files you need on a microSD and put that into your phone. The only caveat where you might need to connect the pc is if you need to SBF back to stock, and its possible that the mac might still recognize that.

Anyone elses keyboard backlight not working at all on this new build?

Read the posts above yours where we just discussed that. :) adjust your brightness and see if it comes on. Albeit, that's only a temporary solution for me, at least you can see if you can get it working at all.
