ok i tried this rom the font selection in certain fonts they need to be defaulted bigger gansta was really hard to read.

all the fixes i see posted up are they gonna get streamlined into the rom?
the same issue like with chevys did not remember my apps or install them like the login or acceptance of agreement to the market check box i think


i will try again in a bit with default font so i can read the options

Same kernel I'm using and have been running great. I tried the 1.2 and 1.25 kernal but had some issues with it rebooting.

Agreed, it seems that this kernel and Jrummy's ROM has hit some type of sweet spot with my phone, it is slicker than owl **** dancedroiddancedroid

I'm kind of curious about this as well. Although I've never had the problem, the randomness of both the issue and effectiveness of the various solutions kind of makes me wonder what's going on.

Unless other people chime in with different advice, I'd suggest restoring your backup, download Titanium, back up your apps (or use Astro), reflash the ROM without wiping and see what happens. If nothing else, you'll have the backup.

For the record, and I'm not sure if this is part of why I've never had the issue come up for me, but I try to keep multiple levels of CYA points when it comes to my apps.

• The Market itself
• Appbrain (which is actually the only way I really manage apps anymore).
• Titanium backup (which itself is backed up to Dropbox every couple of weeks).
• Astro as an alternate backup every month or so.

Paranoid? Sure, but then again I personally think there is no such thing as paranoid when it comes to electronics, and I have never had a problem that I couldn't recover from...yet.

I'm to the point that I'm just about ready to say the hell with it and stick with 2.1 until the official OTA update to 2.2 comes out. I've made posts in several forums, because I've tried Jrummy's froyo roms, BB's, UD's, on and on, and re-posted this issue on each of the forums figuring I'll get different ideas based on the particular fan base of that ROM builder but, I've gotten nothing other than the usual "download and install this market fix". I've tried all those and none of them have done anything. I'm at a total loss as to what the issue could be and why, if 2.1 works so well and, supposedly, the market fix tricks the market into thinking I am using 2.1 when I'm on 2.2, then why isn't it working? What other settings could be off to put market into a freeze when I try to download anything, even with these fixes? I've fixed permissions. I wipe the system and cache 3 times before I load another ROM to make sure it did it completely. I've re-downloaded the roms to make sure they download was a clean one. WTF...I'm frustrated.

I had the same issue..it is annoying..but that's what titanium back up is for..I set mine to install to the SD card and let it do its thing..worked like a charm..

When I had v1.1 the calculator was different. Now is the old stock one. How can I change it back? I tried going back to v1.1 and copy the apk file to sd card. But once I'm back to v4.0.7 I can't install the nor move it to system/app.

Curious if those having GPS related issues left the google location services checked or unchecked when you installed after a wipe. I unchecked it and had issues, just did a wipe and reinstall and left it checked- no issues now. All apps that wouldn't work before (setting profiles, news & weather widget, beautiful widget) all are working now.

I was actually wondering the same thing..the calc. In 1.1 was so much bettrr..bit at the same time I don't use it all the time so its not a big deal..but it would def. Be nice to have

Made a dock icon for launcher pro that matches Nex-Tang, as well as a skin for the htc keyboard if anyone wants them.

I too unchecked the google location services amd had no issues..but I also did a clean install and haven't had any issues w apps other than the known froyo problems with Widgets on the sd card

JRummy, thanks again for this, it is awesome.

There's a couple of things that are missing here and I don't know if this is you or the other apps maker. When rebooting/backing up, LauncherPro does not load the beautiful weather widgets, also, when using launcher, it happens the same thing.

One thing that LauncherPro needs to work on, it's on the bouncing and also, we don't have that 3d view with it.

I just tried changing my wallpaper a LWP and it forced closed on me. Got this info from the logs:

According to the logs the nexus(neural network) LWP is missing from the build. I tested all the other LWPs (Galaxy, Grass, Magic Smoke, Many, Maps, Polar, Spectrum, VU meter, Water and Waveform) work just fine. Minor oversight IMO, since everything else is freakin cherry If anyone knows how to slip that LWP that'd be cool. If not no big deal let's just make sure its not forgotten in the next version.

Btw, Green theme is so freakin sexy man, great work!

If this was the lwp that comes with the rom then I know a temporary fix.

Go to the lwp, it may fc, go to settings anyway, choose your background and color, set the wallpaper, it will set and you will have no more fc.

Some of the lwp don't work for me and there is no settings to choose. Galaxy, Grasss, Water, and the one I choose, TARDIS, don't work. They fc everytime. Help please.
