k so ive waited like 10 minutes and the sync icon was up top for a little but it doesnt seem like anything happened. my apps didnt restore and my contacts aren't there. i went to the accounts and sync and it says the contacts synced but when i go to contacts there is nothing there

Any chance of doing more to Nex-Tang to make it fully orange like the other roms? I would like to see orange icons and market eventually.

Grrrr I'm still having issues with this thing always turning Wifi on by itself and scanning (1.0, 1.1 and now this). Is there a way to disable that all together? Everytime I turn the screen on it starts scanning. I don't need it to do that, would rather it not.

Not to be snarky... but your wi-fi is OFF right?? shouldn't scan unless its ON...

Try a different Kernel...

i backed up all my user apps and data with titanium, did a full wipe (even coming from 1.1... i wipe EVERY time i switch ANY ROM) (only once, I'm not in the movie What About Bob... no need for this wipe 3x stuff) and have not had ONE issue running stock kernel.. eventually going to P3 1.1 as soon as i get my SMOKED ORANGE background put in

Im not seeing the new customizable live wallpaper. All i get for the original wallpaper is the 150 color one. am i doing something wrong?
(i flashed the most recent goodies already)

did you choose a different live wallpaper when you installed through rom manager? While I'm on the subject you might get an initial fc w/ the lwp. All you need to do is go to settings, select your choices, set wallpaper, and no more fc will happen.

Its been an ongoing problem I've hand since 1.0. I've got it turned off. I've got locale and power manager set to keep it turned off. When I turn on my screen it turns itself on and scans, and then scans randomly if the screen is on. If I try to use the a control widget to turn it off, it turns off, and then turns itself back on again, and that will keep happening until it decides its done.

a little bit of an issue here...when i boot my phone i dont have any sort of data connection. none at all. if i toggle wifi off then back on it works fine.

thats odd... any wifi problems usually lie in the kernel maybe your phone doesn't like it in some way shape or form... have you experimented at all with others??

My wife has a similar problem with her email account. The default settings on her email always overwrite the changes made when the application is exited... (not really the same, but i understand the frustration) we can't get her email notifications turned off because the default settings always overwrite changes on exit so it goes off like every hour and is constantly syncing her email..

I've tried various different kernels. I'm downloading one right now that I am fairly certain I have not tried yet. We'll see. I'd still like to look into a way just to kill wifi alltogether, so its not available, no matter what. I don't really need it at all and while it might be minor, I'd like to keep it from wasting any juice when scanning because juice goes fast enough as it is.

well i normaly have 3g turned off while i have wifi...so i turn my phone off to do whatever then turn it back on..it connect to wifi automaticly yet i have no connection at all to the internet until i turn off wifi then turn it back on

well i normaly have 3g turned off while i have wifi...so i turn my phone off to do whatever then turn it back on..it connect to wifi automaticly yet i have no connection at all to the internet until i turn off wifi then turn it back on

i've had this problem before on multiple roms. i have this widget that allows you to turn your (3g im guessing) service off, not airplane mode though. and when i put that on my homescreen, it showed that it was off so all i did was turn it on and worked fine
