I'm having an issue with Slacker quitting if its not the focus. For instance i fire up slacker, it starts playing, then I switch too another app and slacker quits.

Only issue i've had since downloading this back on the 7th, is my 3g connection has been pretty unstable. i was sitting in town at a restaurant today, and was watching it bounce from 1 bar to 4 bars for almost a 1/2 hour.
I'm not sure if this is a kang 5.0.9 issue or what, but since i updated the baseband, back in june, this is the worst signal i've had. Even my wifi has been acting unusual. I usually just switch airplane mode on and off and the signal returns at full bars. so its more of a annoyance than anything to me.

Just wanted to say, the Nex-Tang theme is incredible! The only thing keeping it from perfection (imo) is having the matching black glass FB and Twitter widgets from the flavored versions. Still though, wow.

Agreed on the widgets. I downloaded extremely orange for sapphire and yanked the FB and Twitter out of the .zip file. They look good with the rest of nextang. I also dled Gala S theme and yanked the FB outta that and I've been messing around in Gimp changing the translucent blue bg to a "tang" color.

I was just wondering if when the over-the-air update for 2.2 comes to my droid will I be able to see it on my phone or will it be blocked off? Will I be given the option to download it or not with this rom installed on my phone? Thanks.

Idk if its just the rom or something else but my phone has been acting very strange since i installed this rom. my battery icon stopped working, my 3g and normal signal go crzy sometimes and the phone can act glitchy. anyone else having troubles??

How do you install a boot animation?? i downloaded them.. i have the bootanimation.zip on the root of my sd card. but its not changing? it says its moving it to /media or something. but i dont get it??

you said install as you would a rom. how would i do this??

can somebody explain this to me? im just afraid if i install it using ROM manager as i would a rom it'll mess things up?

Just use ROM manager and install the one that you want from the goodies file and it will do all of the work for you. You don't need to wipe data and cache unless you really want to, and also you don't have to create a backup unless you have already not done so before when you installed the ROM.

First of all, Just wanted to say, this ROM is kickass. The Droid x theme is amazing.

Just installed about a week ago And I've been having some trouble with the GPS. From What I've read the issue is fairly common, but I have yet to find an actual solution for it.

The issue is That my GPS doesn't find my location at all, in any application. Maps pretends like it finds it, but it doesn't, It's telling me It's accurate within 4300 meters. Lol

I've been doing a ton of research on this to absolutely no avail. So I figured I'd post and see if someone could help me.

Unfortunately kang has been starting to slow down for me, to the point where I am thinking about just going back to stock w/ root.

I love the rom but the last few days its been redrawing the home screen nearly every time I come out of an app (happening with both the launcher it comes w/ and ADW).

Its just starting to get laggy all around. It was installed after a wipe.

Great work again...runs super smooth! One issue I have encountered w/ this ROM is that I can no longer access the diagnostics menu (the one accessed by dialing ##PROGRAM). When I dial ##PROGRAM instead of prompting me for the password my phone tries to dial out and connect to the literal "##PROGRAM" number. Of course the call is intercepted by a verizon automated error message. Has anybody else encountered this behavior?

+1 to this. I can't access the menu either, the phone tries to dial the number like a call. First time i've seen this on any ROM.

Tried it again...it doesn't access the hidden menu anymore. Weirdness.

im having the same problem.. i switched over to chevy simply stunning 4.4 baseband .43.01P 1.0ghz kernal still cant access program menu... any input???

Using root explorer move the one you want to /data/local and reboot.:reddroid:

Is anybody having problems with the Nex-Theme? My phone reboots for no reason and will loose data connection, then I have to reboot it and data starts flowing again. that includes phone calls.

Im running nexthem with no issues. That sound like it might be a kernal issue. Have you tried different kernals?
