$99 price when does it end?

My supervisor just got a RazrMaxx, he told me they were pushing the Razr so hard, that he wonders if they are going to discontinue it and just have the maxx and the Razr maxx hd or whst ever they are going to call it.

VZW has always pushed the Razr. They must have ordered 10m of them.

I have been sitting on an upgrade since last December. I missed the $49 deal on the Rezound, and am now thinking quite seriously about the Razr. Is that $89 price at Walmart good for upgrades, or only new accounts?

The Rezound should go on sale again. With the Razr it is much harder to get a larger Battery. Rezound extended battery has been on half price sale. Hold a Razr then a Rezound. Take pictures? Rezound wins there.

I paid $79 at Costco and it was for an upgrade.

On Amazon, there is a different price for upgrades most of the time. The price you initially see on the site is for new lines. If you want to see the Amazon upgrade price, go to the product page for the phone and select "I have an individual account" (or family account) under "Upgrade My Phone." It will show you the upgrade price, which I've seen to be anywhere from $30 to $100 more than the new contract price.

Wal-Mart prices work in the same fashion as well. The price you initially see is for a new contract. Select "2-yr service contract renewal" under "Pricing Options" on the product page to see the upgrade price.
