[ALERT] Verizon 4G LTE Nationwide Outage...Again.

No 4g in Durham all day...for a while, I was 1x, then 3g sporadically...now, just a signal...guess it's 3g. I was walking at the mall and went into a Verizon Store and they are sending me my 5th Thunderbolt overnight delivery. They didn't realize it was a total network outtage. :icon_ banana: The Store Manager tried to get me to waste one of my upgrades on a RAZR, but I declined. The only substitute she was willing to give me was a Charge. She said it is the only phone comparable to the Thunderbolt, and that I would have to sign for an additional 20 months. I declined that too. But, I am getting the Certified Like New device tomorrow. Not that it will fix their network issues, but it will be refreshing to have another new or like new Thunderbolt. I have to set it up again, which is a pain, but I'll do it for a newer version.

I had 4g for about 15 minutes. Now it's 3G. Which is better than 1x, but still not what I pay for.

Grand Rapids, Mi. here. Switched from cdma/lte to cdma only and now have solid 3G. Switched back to cdma/lte and 3G drops out. No 4G. Back on Wi-Fi now.

I was running speed test on 3g and half way 3g dropped as well... No data at all..

READ > Solar flare has possibly knocked out service. When these things happen it's out of Verizon's control. They need to military harden the network to protect from EMI.

Im in San Diego. Haven't had 4G at all today, and the 3G keeps dropping. Couldnt keep a 3G signal long enough to type this. Had to get on a computer. I've tried the airplane mode, pulled the battery, and sim card, and have restarted a number of times. Just switched to CDMA only and I seem to have a steady 3G connection. Longest its been all day (about a minute and a half).
