Just installed UD 7 but cant seem to get the wifi to work. It keeps going on and off. Anybody have any suggestions? I could be missing something. BTW, UD looks awesome!!

everything runs great, but i can't access certain settings in the UD settings. every time i select the "Special Settings" (input, user interface, or app settings) it force closes. I tried repairing permissions. Any thoughts?

Did you wipe data/cache when installing ud7. or did you insatall a theme that was for UD6 or another rom. I have seen this before and everyone that had this problem either did not wipe data/cache or installed a theme from ud6.0. or a theme not made for UD7.

im new to the whole rooting game. i first wiped when i installed BB v.4. i then decided to try this out and installed over it cause i didnt wana have to redo my whole phone again. everything else works perfect, so i'm hesitant on wiping to just make color changes possible. lol

if i wipe, is there a way to restore all my settings and everything after? ive done backups, but like i said, im still learning the rooting world. (been using rom manager)

Try wiping cache, if still no good can recopy twilan driver from update.zip to the system. Or wipe and clean install, possible bad zip file. Try redownloading it also.

If u get the newest ud zip it will auto restore ur market apps for u. What color change would u need to wipe for? In ud menu can change a bunch and need to restart only.

If the clearing cace doesnt work. will it let you get to the backup app in ud seeitngs if so back up than install after wipe data/cache than do restore from ud settings. keep in mind that after restore you need to reboot before the apps will show up.
also dont know when you downloaded the rom but i would redownload with the latest one there now.

cache didnt help. ill do a wipe and try again. is there a way to retore settings like notifications and ringtones etc so i dont have to re-set all that up?

full wipe worked...now just doing the tedious task of resetting up my whole phone.

For those wondering if UD7 is an improvement over BB 0.4, it is. Although I am still patiently waiting for 0.5, UD is a fantastic alternative. If you are interested in a very thorough and almost bugless (teehee) ROM this is for you.

Still testing the ins and outs of UD 7 but as of now the battery life is a tad better than BB (same kernel of course).

Try this one out. CMRC3 19hrs batt life. I'm using chevy's ulow 900 kernal. Proof attached.

how long was the screen on and was it on bright ?
