Just noticed some bugs that may or may not be only experienced by me.

Quadrant Score is stuck at 11/12 while video decoding

Youtube does not work (both in browser and application)

Pictures taken by camera do pop up in that little box. Upon entering the gallery the picture is shown as a blank thumbnail. In other words, the camera takes pictures that cannot be viewed.

Other than that, excellent ROM.

how did u get on ud 7.0? clean install or just over another rom? bc my camera and everything work fine. been watching youtube and taking pics today lol. try a clean install again or redownload the zip too.

Well I have to eat my words about Ultimate Droid... many may know about my dislike of the initial UD Froyo ROMs, but I'm absolutely blown away by UD v7.0's performance thus far. :icon_eek:

Looks like I'll be leaving my Sapphire and my beloved BB for this ROM.

My hats of to this ROM's dev...:clap::gotmyvote:

And most know how hard that was for me to admit... that UD v7.0 is better than BB v0.4.... and not by just a little, I mean by a LOT!!

Someone call an ambulance I think I'm choking. Pretty sweet huh. Lol

Wiped everything 3 times over; clean install.

Wiped everything 3 times over; clean install.

may be a bad zip. bc i know the roms camera and youtube work fine. i would try downloading the zip again. bc i talked with bd about and no one else has this issue. did you install or theme or anything?

I'm liking this ROM but sync is not working on almost every app. Market apps aren't being restored, contacts aren't being restored, sms isn't being restored even with sms backup add.

The only issue i have noticed is my keyboard sometimes has issues. when I try and do numbers i get thing like ' for 1 [ for 9 and a few others are off. If i use the on screen keyboard they all work fine.

Did you download the ROM from BD web site?

if you have 6.0 u can pull the launcher apk out of it and adb push to system/app. or if u have a backup of 6.0 load it up with the launcher you want and yank the launcher apk out of it to use in 7.0.

I still have the download of 6.0 just in case I wanted to reinstall it later. I found the launcher app in it, opened it clicked install and got a message that said "did not install". Now I have no problem admitting that I know almost nothing about this stuff so i'm sure I'm doing something wrong.

make a copy of the ud 6.0 zip, delete everything in it but the meta folder, system and the app for in system having only the launcher apk in there and install that.

I tried and failed. I istalled the altered .zip and when I rebooted I got stuck on "M". Had to do a nandroid restore, first time I needed to do one tho and it was pretty painless.not sure what I did wrong. I left the meta folder alone and I deleted everything out of system except for the app folder which only had the launcher .apk in it. Was that correct?

Did you download the ROM from BD web site?

Yea. I even used both links and installed them both from a full wipe but I still can't sync contacts or restore my apps.

Use the fix zip in OP, has sync fix in it. Its the googletransportbackup.apk. ccan delete the rest. Sign into gmail open market and check downloads then let it sit for a bit. Will restore.

LOL I knew someone would needle me a bit about this... ...Yeah, I'm completely a convert now...and considering how I felt about BB, leaving it for UD7 is saying volumes...

All those problems you listed are working great on my droid you should wipe and install with sp recovery the camera is awsome the bes ive used video and pics im going to try and post some in my profile

I downloaded the zip, extracted only the google transport backup apk and installed it. I've let the phone sit there in the market for over 30 minutes and my apps still have not downloaded. I even tried rebooting the phone and trying it again but still no sync.
