I got the OTA update the other day and just accepted it and let clockwork block the install. Well I just got a reminder pop up that reads reboot to install or cancel install. I chose install and let it fail again. Is anyone else getting this and if so will it just keeps asking me this from time to time?

I only use SP Recovery myself, but still... I got the update notice on UD6, accepted and failed, then when I installed UD7 clean I got the 2.2 notice again, accepted and failed, then I didnt see it again untill I themed my ROM and rebooted, then it came up again. That was a bunch of days ago and I got no other notice even with a few reboots...

This is probably a really dumb question, but where can i find the enable/disable Data Roaming? Is it not on this ROM? Just wanna make sure i dont have it enabled.

BTW, i have no complaints running UD 7.0....its running fantastic for me!

I am loving the UD 7 with golden elegance. I'm having an issue with the DSP Manager. If I enable the equalizer, the sound will start crackling on the top two notches of the volume. I know someone is going to comeback with "Don't turn it up that loud", but I work in a loud environment and need to turn it up louder in order to hear it. I have found that it's not just on the headset jack, but also on the speaker. That's why I'm thinking it might be a problem with the app. Is anyone else experiencing this or is it just me?

I use the EQ to cut a bit of low end (-2.2 on 63hz) and boost a little on the mids (+.2 on 1khz, +.3 on 4khz). I usually have my volume one or two notches below max and haven't noticed any issues in the past week.

It sounds to me like you're overloading the signal. What are your EQ settings like when you turn it on?

Absolutely loving this ROM. My favorite to date. And just when I thought SS was going to be my constant.

BTW, I have the same issue with the EQ on the top two notches. My advice to you would be to turn it off when you are at work. At least you'll be able to crank it up with no issue

Got it twice, except I haven't made any changes. I came from UD6(never had the update notification on v6) no wipe to v7 and got the update a couple days in. I let it update, SPRecovery blocked it, then a couple days later another update notice so of course I let it fail again.

UDv7 is now running Extremely fast, stable, and cool.... I got all customizations loaded and found the best running kernel for my Droid w/this ROM...Chevy's MV 1GHz is running.g very, very cool...getting down to 20c or 21c when idle....login it.
Screenshots to come... ;)

Anyone know of any fix for the auto-brightness bug? What is happening is if I am outside the brightness gets kicked up but will not auto down when I go inside. I have to put the phone asleep and wake it up to get the brightness to adjust.

Yeah, it was some sort of incomaptibilty between cvpcs's kernel and UD (Liquid as well)... anyways, I've had it running pretty damn cool on the MV 1GHz kernel from Chevy, but with that voltage I noticed after very long sessions on Dolphin HD browser, the temp went up to 50c... from 20c at idle to 50c...lol
anyways, I have settled in with Chevy's uLV 1GHz kernel, and after adjusting some settings, I've got it running almost as cool at idle and only to about the mid 40c's on prolonged browser usages...:)
I am completely set now... and all's good with my Droid on UD... lovin it Bro...:)

I am having trouble going from Bugless Beast 0.4 to Ultimate Droid 7.0

-- Ive tried doing recovery with rom manager and also doing it manually.

I have the update.zip file on the SD Card but for some reason I cant boot into anything that lets me apply it.

When i use rom manager it says clockworkmod recovery is installed, but i also used Universal Androot today to root.

In Rom Manager, under flash alternate recovery, try flashing SPRecovery and then reflash ClockWork and try booting into it again... or just flash SPRecovery and boot into that...

I'm fine with the stock kernels performance but would flashing a different kernel improve battery life?

Also can we disable the pop up every time it grants superuser permission? Gets in the way of screen shots most of the time for me.
