Me too man. Im not asking for an eta btw just to clear that up im just curious on his progress on the data. the work dh has done for us bionic owners makes this phone truly a super phone.
This is a strange lil bug- most likely doesn't have anything to do with the Alpha Rom- but every single time I format data, system, cache, and dalvik cache, and then do a fresh flash of either the Alpha 4 (thru Alpha 1) or Alpha 5 Roms, my phone loads with the exactly same arrangement of Apps that were on my home screen as before I cleared data and all. It's as if Safestrap isn't clearing my data or anything- and this is also leading to problems with the Home Capacitive button not working.
I tried clearing the data from the Safestrap folders- running a fresh backup- even uninstalling the Safestrap app and reinstalling it- but it seems like every time it returns me to my previous state - before the wipe.
I read that there is a small problem with the way Safestrap wipes data and that DH and Hashcode are looking into it. Mine does the same. But, (knock on wood) it isn't looping or doing anything else nasty so it doesn't bother me.
For the life of me I have not been able to get this thing to boot... I must be doing something wrong in safestrap. Always sits at the bootanimation and never makes it past. I think I've read/tried everything, but who knows...
Going into Mounts and Storage -> Formatting /emmc has allowed me to actually 'clear' my data. (You'll need to do a backup of your NON-SAFE system first!)
However, the Home Capacitive button still doesn't work for me. Otherwise- this ROM looks and flows deliciously.

i had that problem when I was attempting to flash alpha3. I had to load up alpha1 first and then the latest alpha. Have you tried flashing alpha1 first? That was the only thing that would work for me.
