That it does! There was a delay in my post showing up and he released the new version in between. Good to see you here DT. Are you about to get caught up at work?

Just curious, once phone data starts to work could this be used as our daily rom?

Unbelievable work!! You devs are making me proud to have the bionic with this quick work to it despite all these cool new phones coming out. Just awesome!!

Guess you could. Might be a few bugs, but this thing is sweet and remarkably usable at this point. And a little audio would be a nice to have item, too, especially on a phone, LOL! DH, you are DA MAN! :hail:

This is amazing. So close to a full working rom. You are the man dh keep it up! Sound is the last thing before id run this all the time.

wow...the fact that our bionics have a quasi-working ICS before the nexus even formally launches is insane...awesome work DH

Over wifi, market works (browse and install), new gmail works (it's so bright!), sms working well
All the apps I installed from market worked too
I couldn't get the phone part to activate so i skipped it, not sure if that's expected. I do have some signal bars showing and was able to receive a test call (w/o audio). The time populated correctly via network

Minor issues that are probably known already:
I also have two calendars under apps for some reason
A couple of times, the apps drawer stops accepting touch/input. I can hit the menu softkey, go to the launcher and return and it's ok.

I think the two calendars are from syncing your google account, as the second didn't show for me until after doing that.

More importantly, ZumoCast is working on the phone!!! Obviously audio and video aren't working, but I successfully connected to my account, saw my library, and was able to "watch" something from it, meaning it connected, buffered, and crashed. That is fantastic. I'm regretting my purchase less and less every passing day XD

EDIT: Something I just noticed. The capacitive buttons seem to stay lit even when the phone is locked...

i think you're right westane, since I don't remember seeing duplicates on alpha 5 and before
the calendar issue is certainly not a biggie...I disabled the second one for now.
one version is:
Code:
version 4.0.1-eng.dhacker29.20111206.060717
the other is:
Code:
version 4.0.1-223971

Tested navigation (install maps from market), which is working well...
Pushing from android market from computer to phone worked great

Home Button has yet to work

Every works as claimed- got SMS and Wifi to work (with a couple bugs here and there). 2 big issues are that the "Home" capacitive button still doesn't work at all- and all the capacitive buttons stay lit when the screen turns off (wastes battery). Otherwise- amazing work DH.

EDIT: ADB Logcat reads the following when pressing the Home button:
D/InputReader( 2727): Fake event sent, touch=1 !
D/InputReader( 2727): Fake event sent, touch=1 !
D/InputReader( 2727): Fake event sent, touch=0 !

And a screen shot of what I got going:

DH posted that if you toggle your screen auto brightness to checked in Settings/Display, the lights in the capacitive buttons will work correctly.
