Android 2.1 Update Rolls Out For Motorola Droid!

I did get my OTA update eRLY THIS AFTERnoon around 11:30a or so. took just a few minutes. the pinch to zooms works great but I just not sure what else it's supposed to be able to do. Does anyone know of a website that gives the new features?

After doing the manual download, mine is running a bit faster than before. The apps seem to be running well. The only two things are, the live background won't run/ork with Home++ and I only have 3 screens with the stock home program. Does anyone out there know how to increase the screen numbers. Hai Domo!!!

Overall I'm liking the upgrade...

You can always try the manual upload. It's really easy to do seems to work really well... or you can wait. Either way I hope everyone gets it really soon if they already haven't!!!

Just follow the instructions. If you have a shortcut to the gallert, after you're done, dump the shortcut and reinitialize. Good Luck!!!!

My son got it sometime today and it seems to work fine as far as he can see and the pinch zoom is pretty neat. We got our phones the same time on a family plan and My daughter and I still don't have ours:sad:

I just manually did it. for some reason everything looks a tad larger, i noticed that my apps were in a diffrent order also, like i added one but i didnt. maybe its cause things are bigger? idk. anyways one question i have is now that i have 2.1 can i just use a smoked glass theme or no? thanks.

LOL, my son and I bought ours same time, same place on opening day and I received my update this morning, he's still whining that he hasnt received his yet, of course I continue to rub it in. :icon_ banana:

You don't have to read all 257 pages, everything is repeated every 3 or 4.

Did the manual download... havin fun with the live wallpapers... found some more in the market.... seems to run well with Helix... also speak to text rules...
