I just went and took a look at fastcardtech.com. Their phones do certainly look interesting and the prices were great. Unfortunately, I personally had some warning bells going off. Their phones are obviously "clones" and the spec list shown looked somewhat incomplete. For instance both the SG4 and Note 3 "clones" had nothing shown regarding photo quality for the front/rear cameras. Also, since these are clones, who would support the operating system, would there ever be any updates? Many of us have complained about lack of support from Motorola and they're a large well-known company. With a "clone" made by a mystery factory in China, I'm afraid you might receive the phone and then be totally "on your own".im actually boycotting motorola now. theyre working with the nsa if u ask me. moto x listening to everything u say at all times. 3 mics to hear everything around under claims of noise cancellation benefits?
ive decided ill go with china fones from now on. but im getting a couple more d4s as backup/spare parts etc.
ive been marketting motorola all year.. now ive got to take the man's route and tell everyone i was wrong about them. major disappointment in all areas.
they didnt even deliver on their professed 4000mah battery standard. losers.
fastcardtech.com is the place for me. they got some waterproof, dustproof and shatterproof glass products on the market. i see their mobile market blossoming generously in the future.

What is photo q? Link?
photon q
it's pure cdma fone tho. ull have to solder a simcard holder unto the motherboard to get gsm working. photon's specs are lower than droid 4's tho.

Well fellas. Looks like I'm making the jump. It's between the Droid Maxx or the Moto X for me. I've been using my D4 exclusively with the touch screen to see if I can deal. It's definitely not as nice as the KB but it's not horrible. And going from the D4 screen to my wife's razr M was better still.
It's kind of liberating in a way. You don't feel like you're on an arctic outpost and you've just heard they're not going to get food anymore until the spring. Maybe a bit dramatic but it sure seems like the physical KB users are on an island while everyone else is partying at the pool.
My question is which one? I was pretty sure I was going Moto X but then started thinking Droid Maxx and that's where I'm leaning now. The hardware is super nice and the google influence on the software is a major step in the right direction - very transparent iteration of android and the touchless stuff is pretty slick indeed, if not a little too Siri-ish.
What would ya'll do if you ever were to make the jump?
