Anyone have an LG G watch?

If nothing else, it's nice to not have to pick the phone up to find out the notification you just got isn't that important or to delete an email that you can't bring yourself to unsubscribe from, but rarely actually read.

Handy as heck for voice texting too.

I used navigation today in town & it launched right away on the watch as well. It's super cold here, so the watch was buried under a couple sleeves, but it was kinda nice to get the physical feedback when it was time to turn.

I'm excited. Don't know how useful it will be but I like toys so I know I'll at least have fun with it.

I find that I am using mine more and more every day. Like @Jonny Kansas has stated, it comes in very handy for dismissing notifications without touching your phone, or knowing which ones you need to deal with right away. It's also a conversation starter. I am traveling for the next two weeks assisting customers on-site, with a team of 4 other co-workers. My phone was blowing up all day with texts, calls and e-mails and I was viewing & dismissing all from my watch pretty discreetly. But a few folks noticed and asked "what is that...is that a watch...what are you doing with it?" Quite a few people thought it was pretty cool. First busy day with mine, and it was kind of fun.

But do you get the "is that an APPLE watch?" question? I hate that one. People laugh at how hurt I am when I respond. Haha

Nope....not yet. I have a picture to show them if they do ask. Might have saved it from this forum....8-)

My only real complaint, which is still tiny & easily fixed, is that the band is starting to wear. The matte finish is getting shiny on this one side & more so by the clasp, where it rubs on my desk at work.

This'll just push me to find a cool replacement band sooner.

Now why did you have to post those? Now I will be looking at mine every day! Actually, I can see the start of wear marks near the clasp on mine also, but not up near the watch. New bands are probably pretty inexpensive (unless you want real gold or something like that).

It's doing it up by the watch on both sides now that I look, but you're right. They go for about $10 on up on amazon depending on style & material. I'll pick one up when this gets to be too much for me. Like I said, not a big deal at all at this point.

Looking forward to your experience! Hope you enjoy it like we have!

@94lt1 did you ever end up dusting yours off?

I actually did. And i updated it.. And the voice texting is a tad annoying at times.. It says some really odd stuff lol..

I feel that if I were communicating to a super car(KITT) he'd misunderstand and run me over lol.. But I'm enjoying it much more than when I first got it.. Still takes some getting used to the swipe over stuff... VS long press on our devices..

I can imagine there a little learning curve. But I did try on a moto 360 at best buy and liked the feel and size of it. Maybe down the road I can get a 2nd Gen 360 or g watch r.

That's where I'm at with it. I'm not upgrading want time soon, but I don't see this thing staying with me for the long haul. I suppose that mostly depends on the updates & if they keep coming.

My biggest problem is with watch faces that show weather or other info. I'm so used to tapping on bw to see my forecast instead of asking it what the weather is if I accidentally dismiss that card. I wish I could set weather to never dismiss via the watch. It's always handy. I pulled it up in a meeting today when we were talking about the weather & somebody asked what the temp got to today (it was -2 during this meeting that started at 1:30pm).

And there's a definite learning curve on speaking naturally and clearly with it. It's also hard getting to saying "period" & "question mark" to punctuate & make any sense at all when you're rambling to it.
