Verizon didn't care about breaking my Bionic with their updates, and how come At&t was able to push the Vivid update months ago. It's essentially the same phone as ours (different radios). I blame it on Verizon having other priorities...like making horrible droid razr commercials. I am probably going to have to get a gsm nexus next time around even though I like HTC and Sense the best, so I don't have to wait 6-8 months for updates. I wouldn't give any credit to Verizon, they are the epitome of a greedy corporation.

Personally, I think capitalism, especially when not inhibited by burdensome and controlling politicians, is an awesome thing. After all, it is what propelled America to become one of the greatest civilizations to ever inhabit this planet. I hate that those same politicians managed to gain control of our (now terrible) public school systems and turn out little zombies who have been programmed to hate that which made us so successful.

Having come out of the public school system last year, I have no idea what you are talking about. No one is taught that capitalism is bad.

I think I read on one of the numerous rumor threads that it is being held off for 2 weeks due to a bug. I haven't seen anything else about the next date of supposed release. Is there anymore news or can I expect ics to just show up like gb did on my Inc , catching many rumor mongers by surprise?

Probably the latter. I can't imagine that with the lack of press that ICS on the Rezound(or the Rezound itself) has garnered that Verizon will post something on release day.

That's what I'm figuring as well. The Inc1s gb update showed up one night and soon after the fixed version showed up. The flash for the camera hasn't worked right since, goes off after the camera takes the photo, but that's another topic.
My January update to the rezound came through fine and didn't break anything so I'm hoping by the ics taking so long its for the same reason, an unbroken update.

I think I know what bug is holding the update for the Rezound back...Verizon wants to spend their time and money releasing another version of that Razr commercial first and then wait for Moto to update the Razr to ICS.

I hope they allow us to disable all apps on ICS. On my other Rezound with the leak, there are a couple apps that can't be disabled.

I am on a different phone now. But when I was on the leak there were a couple. One was visual voicemail I think. I will have to check my s-off Rezound when get home and see.
