[ROM] | aokp | axi0m [b] | kang | 4.0.3 | 2/24/2012 |

Day 1 of running this ROM was amazing. Day 2... too many data issues coupled with other small bugs that have been mentioned in this thread made me revert to stoc .902. Couldn't send MMS messages and too many data connectivity issues sent me packing. LOVE the rom though, super smooth and fast. Also, I couldn't install a couple of apps that I user regularly like ESPN radio and MLB At Bat. Can't wait untill the bugs are worked out and I can get back to ICS.

This rom is working pretty well for me so far, but it sucks that chrome beta doesn't work with it!
One thing I'm noticing right off the bat is that wifi keeps dropping seemingly randomly. It comes back pretty quickly but I'll look at my phone and have no wifi where I should, then a few seconds later it'll reconnect.

Same issue here, re: wifi

Actually after a TiBu restore and a reboot, I'm now stuck in a force close loop with com.android.phone
Well I guess I'm going back to stock! It was nice while it lasted! (a few hours)

Its a great rom but it still needs a little work. Nitro just dropped a nice rom Eclipse 2.2 its not ICS but its fast as hell.

Been running this rom since last night! so far so good.

Only problem is my facebook contacts are syncing but they are not displaying pictures for the contacts, a huge pet peeve of mine, but this seems normal since I've been messing with roms aside from stock. Anyone else have this problem or have a fix for it?

I'm really liking ICS. I don't have the wifi issues(or maybe I'm just not realizing it). I did notice that usually after I reboot the phone, the buttons stay illuminated after I turn off the screen. I found that by turning the auto brightness on, then immediately back off, it fixes itself. I could give two ****s about the FFC, don't think I have ever used it. Once again, nice work good sir.

You cannot successfully restore system app/data files from Gingerbread over ICS system files. Restoring with TiBu is almost always going to cause issues, the worst of which is bootloop or lack of boot altogether.

Each ROM I flash, I manually installed my apps and then restore data for only a few of those user apps that I must have, making sure to avoid restoring anything to do with GB system.

flashed this morning and loving it so far.

im having issues with the phone though. the phone will dial out and receive calls, but i can't hear anything nor is it transmitting any voice. no ringing/busy tone, nothing; but the phone call will connect. i can use google voice and it will play back voicemails fine, and when hanging up the phone the disconnect sound plays through the headset.

After every reboot, I toggle GSM/LTE(gives you data) and Toggle Bluetooth On/Off(gives you ability to speak with people and for them to hear you). Just issues we have to live with to enjoy ICS until they are fixed in a future update.

thanks, i just saw the bluetooth toggle solution on one of the first few pages.

even after toggling, if bluetooth is active, i cannot hear/speak with people. with bluetooth completely off it appears to work fine. second i turn it back on i lose it again.

Stupid question. In my contacts list how do I clear my frequent calls. Not the recent call tab but the ones that show on the contacts tab. ROM is awesome by the way.

If you're on a BT headset it works fine. Just be sure to turn off bluetooth if you are not using a BT headset.

I've been using this for a few days now and I LOVE IT!!! Fast and sleek. The only problems I am having so far are that my screen turns off and I can't get it to turn back on even though the buttons on the bottom stay lit (which it started doing before I installed this ROM so I think that's my phone's issue and not this ROM (if anyone knows of a fix, I'd be eternally grateful!); and my 3G/4G drops and I can't get a signal without rebooting. The start up noise is WAY too loud and nerve racking. And my speech input sometimes doesn't work. The icons in the notification bar are so small I can't see them. I like to have the temperature and I had the big text battery notifier up there but with this ROM, they are so small, I can't even see them! So I put a battery widget and weather widget on a screen. Guess I can learn to live with it. Just will take some getting used to. I also just noticed Netflix isn't working for me either.

I have never used the Nova launcher but I like the look of the icons. Thought I'd give it a try since I usually use Go Launcher and I have to say it's pretty cool. Feels like I have a new phone! Nice job, guys!

I also downloaded the ICS camera and it's WAY, WAY better than the stock camera app and CameraFX, in my opinion.

This will be absolutely perfect when the front facing camera issues are resolved and I can Tango again (have to fix my screen issue first)!!

All in all though this is FANTASTIC! I had Kin3tx and loved that, too. After I updated to 902, I couldn't root for awhile. When the new root tool came out and I could root, I couldn't use Kin3tx any more so I stayed stock rooted for about 2 or 3 weeks.

I like this ROM even better. Super fast, smooth and lots of customization. :hail: THANKS GUYS FOR ALL YOU DO!!
