I know I'm not STG, but besides battery life, it's a great device... very smooth. I'm sitting on a Maxx now as well. Gnex screen is a little nicer (though it seems to lean towards a little darker setting on auto), but both are great screens. You'll see no pixelation on the Gnex, and you might, occasionally, notice it on the Razr if you're picky (as you might already know). I can tell a difference in radio strength already on the Maxx - at least today, it's performing much better than the Gnex - and my Gnex isn't one of the horror stories you hear about occasionally - it actually has been quite good. If I could get a day + out of the Gnex battery (and I have the extended), and a little better signal strength and voice quality (Maxx is louder, IMO) I'd probably stick with it. But the Maxx is leading in my mind b/c of those "issues" - plus it'll have ICS, and has some good dev support as well.

I like my gnex but love my Maxx... As jnt mentions, battery life on the Maxx is better for me...I generally get 4 to 6 hours more on my Maxx... The gnex has a great screen, I put my Maxx on full bright & that makes it comparable...

The other difference is signal strength... Much better on the Maxx for me...

Don't get me wrong, the gnex is very nice & a crackflasher & modders dream LOL... You should check out your local vzw store to see if they have a live display model...

When dealing with the data drop issue. best to dial *#*#4636#*#* (least in my situation) . Under phone info is a drop tab to select your preferred data connect, right above Turn off radio toggle. For my area I use "CDMA auto (PRL)" as we are weak with the 4G. Found that before not actually setting this caused constant signal drops. But eventually after fiddling around. Even after reboots and safestrap switches no data loss at all. Hope this helps alittle. I almost gave up myself, but I've had an ICS sweet tooth since RAZR was announced.

#dickslapmoto couldn't be any truer. Great ROM and thoroughly impressed.

Rooted and haven't looked back.

Did we not need to wipe battery stats? I think mine is jumping around a little, it sat at 85 for a few minute's with heavy internet use on 4g.. and that just isn't normal! The battery usually falls rapidly

i kno i wiped battery and my battery still drops quick but i love this rom

hmm...i went back to stock to see how much of a battery difference the battery is.100% on stocked but 60% on the axiom b12 rom..any way on how to improve the battery issue?

I definitely feel you on battery life with this rom. I noticed the battery indicator in the status bar is a couple % different than the info in battery settings.
I gotta say tho with the latest update I haven't had a data drop. I will still rock this rom, I'll just keep a charger in my pocket.

Has anyone had any problems making calls? I have called someone and have someone called me... i cant hear anything and they cant hear me. I can only answer and talk on the phone through a bluetooth headset. This has happened to be on both B12 and B13 and i made sure to wipe every time i installed a new ROM.

Me myself I've never tried the other ics roms for the razr only axiom so I'm not sure.

Yo holla420, did you get any data drops today? My data didn't work most of the day. It seems to be holding steady now.
