I too noticed that i lost superuser abilities when i installed the latest nightly. I managed to get it back though by manually installing the latest su binary.

Click this link -> http://goo-inside.me/superuser/su-2.3.2-efgh-bin-signed.zip and place that in the root of your sd card. You should still be able to boot into recovery by holding the power button, selecting reboot, then recovery. Once you get to the recovery screen choose install zip from sdcard then choose zip from sdcard. Find the su binary you just downloaded and hit the camera button then scroll down to yes and hit the camera button again. When its done installing reboot and voila you should have full superuser abilities back. Not sure it that'll work for everyone but it worked out for me.

Is this really supported? The developer hasn't made announcements on this which makes me think it's not ready yet. How are you all installing this?

Pulled it from rommanager. Gps is working fine and camera is the only thing not working for me.

I just installed Google maps and it is working fine. It was an issue with the gps in the previous version not google maps. I still am not getting weather updates in fancy widgets but I really like cm7 once they get all the bugs worked out it is going to be the ****z. I was really happy with Apex 2 but I loved cm7 on my eris and I can live without a camera till they get it fixed.

Did you update yet? There's an update available via market. Also, flash the new clockwork recovery and make sure you choose Droid X 2nd-init.

Ah I see it now. I hadn't updated CWR. Thanks buddy! Oh I guess I'll be loosing root when I update?

Nah. Worst case you might lose superuser app. You can just reinstall it.

Do you have to do the Google Apps again? It's prompting me to download when I select the Build #3.
