[ROM] [BETA] CyanogenMod 7 for the Droid X

Has anyone experienced the sound of notifications constantly going off when downloading from the market? Also, has anyone experienced constant vibrating when making or taking calls? These problems seem to plague me even after I have updated to the seventh and eighth nightly

Dont know about the sound, but...
go to Settings>Call Settings, and you'll see the options for the vibrating you dont like.

Im considering wiping everything and flashing CM again. Can I create a recovery? What I'm asking may seem stupid, but with all the problems CM has I'm not too sure if i can w/o screwing something up.

Theres really only 2 problems, well one actually. Camera/Camcorder (both have a work around) and video playback (when you fix the camera, this is also fixed)

Other then that, it runs very well. Battery life keeps getting better with each nightly and performance is top notch. Oh and Torch still doesnt work, but droid light does.

For a fresh beta this ROM is leaps and bounds closer to RC then I would have imagined. I had no intentions of staying on CM7 when I decided to test it, but I cant see myself running any other ROM currently. Now it would be nice to see other Dev's take the 2ndinit and load fully custom ROM's on top the same way CM7 is ran

Flashing Back

Ok so I need my camcorder to much. I'm going to switch back to Liberty GB .08... Should I flash back to the normal Clockworkmod for Droid X or stay on 2nd-int???

Oh and im NOT staying on Liberty lol. CM is too awesome just need my camera lol

Couple of possible issues... Can you guys confirm if you get the same?

Chrome to phone app - when trying to enable it and associate with my google account, it can't connect to the server.

Update push notifications - in Settings -> CyanogenMod settings -> System -> Update notifications it fails registration and I have red text telling me I need premium version of ROM Manager, even though I have it installed already.

Battery life is horrid on cm7 no matter what i do.I have a extended battery and wipe stats in CWR use the battery claibration and still only get 11 hours till it dies.Other then that i dont think its nothing special.

Hmm thats weird.
I am using low voltage 1.15 gHZ, juice defender, and medium brightness and can get a good 20 hours.

Maybe the nightlies will fix it soon.

Weird, have you tried wiping battery stats?
I have stock battery and was at 30% after 15 hours of use today with some browsing, some angry birds and a bunch of texting, not to mention playing around with CM settings. No clocking/volting here.

Oh and that was on Nightly 8
