The best advice I can give you is try to boot into the bootloader by holding volume down & camera button while booting. If you can do that much you can at least SBF to Froyo or gingerbread and start over.
thanks...I couldnt remember what that procedure was....I just did that and I can get into the bootloader....so SBF here I come....I'll get back to you with my results....thanks again
Funny, cause I'm at work too...these issues always seem to happen when I'm here and never at home where I have all my tools n resources on hand...lol...I downloaded the sbf file for .340 but it isnt showing up in the file props panel in RSD....and the GB SBF says it cant be rooted....any suggestions here?
I think that may be where I'm slipping....what I was talking about is the "file properties" window on the right side, next to where it shows you your connected phone info....when you select the sbf file it would show some info on it but it didnt....
How exactly do I do the "Run as admin" thing again....cause I right click on the program but I dont get that as a choice in the menu...using vista ultimate if that makes any difference...
I'm on a government computer so I can't tell if you can access it from the start menu, but right click on whatever RSD shortcut you're using, there should be a tab for Compatibility or something to that effect. In there about midway down there's a checkbox for run as administrator. Check that, then reopen.
yeah, did the right click, properties, advanced and the "run as admin" box to be selected is "greyed" out and wont let me select it....I changed permissions for everyone to access everything in securities but still cant select the box I need....
Is it the shortcut in the start menu? Try finding it in the program files folder and changing it that way. Or maybe the user account you're on isn't an admin? Or it didn't take the changes for whatever reason?
ok, found it in program files, ran as admin but the sbf file still desnt show up in the "files properties" window...it ran a "failed" when I hit start....
