[ROM] [BETA] CyanogenMod 7 for the Droid X

May have missed this previously, but anyone having issues plugging into the computer to use a mass storage? I read on another forum to disable usb debugging but nothing. I can see it as a drive on my computer but when I click on it, just says "Please Insert Disk".

That's odd. I'll look into it here in a bit and see if I can come up with something or at least duplicate it. Is your sd card unmounting when you go into mass storage mode?

Bloodmut, I don't toy with themes much but if they say they're for CM7 chances are you can use them, yes.

Thanks. I am running the battery calibrator right now. Hopefully this helps. I just can't imagine the android system using so much battery.

I used the MDW monster.zip method and also had the issue of not having the dial pad appear during activation. I did find a workaround, however. Exit the activation screen, bring up the dialer, dial *228, then insert three 2 second pauses followed by a 1, finally hit send. Theactivation screen will come up, but after 6 seconds a box will pop up letting you know its dialing 1. THe activation will finish on it's own from there.

Can we not use the four corner tap trick to bypass the activation? Just wondering because I always bypass after flashing a new rom. I have to drive 45 minutes one way to re-activate because my phone picks up a local carriers towers. I have to drive that far to get a good signal from a verizon tower.

Well made it home and used my trusty version of .340 and came back to life...I'm loaded with CM7 and playing around with it to see whats good! Thanks for your help Phalstead....

Yeah, my sd card is unmounting. Tried rebooting my phone and cpu. I'm dual booting my cpu and tried both windows and ubuntu but nothing.

Double check to make sure u are pressing in the correct spots on the screen. I never can seem to do it until I have the how to open on my screen. Then again, I've.never tried it on Cm4DX either....

Yes I had the same problems with Netflix. Other than that CM7 is the best rom for the DX.

I have heard that the four corners trick works. Looks like I'll be flashing sometime this weekend to see what all the huhbub is about.
