Anyone know how to get sound working on boot animations I copied an ogg file to the system media notification using root explorer and rebooted but no sound?

I know this is a off topic but I have sbf'd twice from justice rom I rooted and everytime I try to install cyan it says aborted, I even tried miui and liberty gingerbread they all abort, only luck I have is just restoring my old liberty 2.0 backup. Does anyone know why it would be doing this after sbf and wipes and everything else I could think of I'm ready for cyan?????

Strange. Maybe a corrupt file. Try re dl cm7. You can also try flashing the gb leak and then get on cm7gb.

Well, you don't want to flash lib gingerbread..unless you are on gingerbread kernel..but, if your restoring a lib2.0 your on froyo..but by the sound of it, I wonder if you've tried bootstrapping to recovery and manually wipe data, dalvick, and cache...then choose zip and apply...

Yeah I tried those it has never done this before I've always flashed roms, I bricked my phone last weekend going to gb so I sbfd then restored twice to a stable rom. I can't get any rom to work justice cyan or liberty gb they all start then say aborted

If its not working in rom manager, and or cwm recovery..then your files are bad or something...lol..so, maybe try mounting before you try next time...

It could be a corrupt file or corrupt sd card. Try re dl the files (make sure the file size is correct)

If its a universal thing with files on the sd, id suggest formatting it. Remember it wipes the whole card so make sure you back it up on your pc. Hopefully that's not the issue though!

Ok ill do that I'm picking up the bionic if it drops next week so that sd won't be corrupt if that is the case and I'm hoping to move to cyan on that device! Thanks for the input guys!
