well when i was there yesterday my buddy that works there told me the bionic is definitly dropping in two weeks. i should of listened to him when he was trying to convince me not to get the d3...cause i didnt want to lose the buy one get one. i walked out with 2 d3 for 150!..but guess what they suck!...the screen sucks and my wifes keeps resetting. and i do alot of pics and videos. hands down worse camera i ever used. my incredible takes a way better pic. anyway i am gonna be out a double restocking fee. but there is no way i would keep these phones for two years. so i am off tomorrow to return them and continue the bionic wait.

Well if you think the D3 sucks for those reasons, chances are you won't like thw Bionic Either.

Yes I'm being optimistic =P
My only concern is the pentile screen being stretched because of the larger screen, yet same resolution as their smaller screens. If it's one thing I know, larger is never better when pixel density isn't considered.

The Inc 2 is a great phone, purchased one for my younger brother and I was very impressed with the quality, especially the screen, made my OG look very outdated.
If you don't mind me asking, what was bad about the screen? I'm just curious as the D3 actually looked like a decent phone minus no 4g LTE and ew physical keyboard.
I also ask because, theoretically, the Bionic will be using a very similar screen as the D3 in terms of technology.

That definitely shouldn't of been happening. Mines been perfect and the screens just fine. If you don't like this screen, you won't like the Bionics bigger, similar screen.
When the Bionic comes out, though, and if it lives up to the hype I'll definitely be picking up the bionic.

If you are unhappy with the D3, you are not going to like the Bionic. Take away the keyboard from the D3 and add 4G and you pretty much have the Bionic, plus or minus a few specs. Regardless, I would not buy a cell phone in todays market for the camera. Cameras need more real estate for the lense ect than is available in a phone. Digital cameras are so cheap, just get a camera for your pictures.

I think you should get a Dinc2 and avoid all this dual core mumbo jumbo. All of us poor souls with these dual core phones.....poor souls

i have plenty of cameras and camcorders. in my line of work i sometimes need to send a quick flic or video so the phone serves me well. i am not looking for a professional camera in a phone but at least a non grainy clear pic. if you compare the pic on the d3 to a pic from the inc or the tb, you will see what i mean. if buying a high end phone i would expect it to funtion well. the same way i dont expect my pro street car to do as to my commuter car.
I expect my phone's camera to take great pictures. They're expensive, they're capable and they should have viable cameras.
My Original Droid is a bit of a disappointment camera wise, but it is older tech now. The night pictures are just horrendous.

Wow. I don't know where you're finding these reps... my reps at my local store won't say a date, but they even tried to get me to hold out on getting the Charge to get the bionic. lol. It all depends on the location I suppose. And what people have been saying is right; Verizon employees are sales people with goals and districts and numbers just like other salesmen. WE are the fans hounding them for leaky information when they're probably more concerned with hitting that day's numbers. lol

I disagree, still.. Compared to my 12.1 mp camera with 720p video and my 16mp camera with 720p/1080p, my Droid 3 still takes pretty good pictures. Mind showing how it's grainy? Because I don't have the problem. There is, however, an annoying blue tint when taking pictures. And until that's fixed I am using a different camera app.
Of course my more professional camera's take better pictures, but, that's to be expected. So either your phone is all wacked(cause your other complaints haven't been fitting most others bills either) up or we have different preferences for things, which is fine. And besides the webtop and 4G - a keyboard, Bionic will likely be the same as well.
