I might go look at it today, but I won't be picking one up anytime soon. Not with the next Samsung wonderphone so close on the horizon.

QFT! 9 months ago I would have been in line waiting for the store to open. I'm going to read up on the posts tonight, and go check it out tomorrow. I will probably wait for the late October phones before I pull the trigger.

When you guys and ladies get your Bionic please let us know about home screen rewrite/redraw. Until this week the only problem I've had with my OG is how much time it takes to rewrite the a home screen. And yes I know about widgets, moving apps to the SD card and the like.

And speaking of this week. I'm not a conspiracy theory nut but for about a week now my OG has had a mind of its own. Too many strange things to really go into but I wounder if Verizon has taken control of it :icon_rolleyes: to get me to get a Bionic.

haha right? I had a flawless D1 for almost two years, and the last 2 months it has completely crapped out even with a factory reset and all the usual tweaks I used to do to keep it running smooth...

Have to agree... I'm going to get some "hands on" time with this phone but, I'm waiting on it. Still rocking my D1 and, it's holding it's own through battle scars but, Probably going to wait until the End of Oct or Early Nov to see other offerings. Worst case scenario is; I end up with a Bionic but pay less for it, which; certainly is not that bad.

The good news is that the Bionic is on Costco's web site, its hard to find, for $279 with all the extras we have seen listed in the past few weeks. The bad news is that it is out of stock.

Well, since the Bionic was already announced, spec'd out, and due to be released roughly at the same time as the Tbolt what does that make it? ...and the Bionic can't even do data and voice at the same time.

I'm thinking of joining this conspiracy bandwagon since my OG Droid has been acting screwy since last week. I'll get a phone call, but it refuses to let me answer and yet I can hear the person talking but they can't hear me. At least I did order my Bionic this morning.
