Bionic's still coming, is defintely new hardware - XT875

There is a second speaker next to the camera, sort of within the camera cutout... is that what you're talking about?

No, the hole cut in the back to make clearance for the lens is lopsided or too big at the top. It looks like they missed. The speaker holes frighten me because it looks too small to have any kind of volume like my D1.
I sure hope that is not the Bionic. It's butt ugly to me.

But I wait, and believe NOTHING until I see it released. Hoaxter's everywhere for sure.

Here's the cutout for the camera:

And here's a closeup, where you can see that the space above it is a grate for a dual speaker:

I personally prefer the black rubberized metal with curvy angles rather than the plastic crap direction they were going with the device at CES. I would buy it either way, but I am happy with this industrial design. An ugly sort of beauty.

it looks to me that the hole is cut that way because the whole back slides off instead of just having a battery door

Yeah, it certainly looks like the entire back comes off, but that does look like a second speaker grill next to the camera. The pattern and material match the other one exactly.

I know the black looks a little plain but this is probably a pre-production model anyways so the production model could always sport some design on the back. I mean look, the pictures show the phone is in airplane mode anyways so they aren't testing it on the network (at least in the pictures) so it's probably in a software testing phase.

This Pentile pixel display, how bad is it? It's supposed to improve battery life, but i heard to some people it really is a true deal breaker

It's the sort of thing where it's different for different people. Some have issues with it in regular day-to-day use, so it's a deal breaker for them. But most people don't have any problems with it. You really just have to look at one yourself to find out which camp you fall into.

It isn't uncommon for leaked pics to be in airplane mode. This prevents the carriers name from being displayed. Mfg always keep the carrier secret until announcement.

Im pretty sure this is not the way its gonna look n final production.

Went to the store to compare dx2 to charge screens. I must be the only person who really doesn't like the screen on the charge. The colors are all wrong...oversaturated. I much preferred the screen on the dx2.
