Bionic's still coming, is defintely new hardware - XT875

If the original bionic body form was coming out, I'd still be excited. But this thing's ugly and waiting so long for it is beyond ridiculous.

Wish the new iphone would come out with some news, I'd jump ship in a second and I was an OG, got my droid the first day they came out because I hate apple computers.

Done waiting

Damn me and this phone

Heh, The End of Waiting eh?

Maybe they are fixing the no choice feature for heptic feedback the Atrix has. Lots of complaints because they cannot disable it. Not a huge issue but an issue.

Motorola is struggling folks.

I got tired of patiently waiting for the droid since April. I was eligible for NE2 a couple of months ago, so last week I went ahead and purchased the Samsung Charge. I like it so far, especially the 4G speed!!! Sometimes I reach near 30M download and 6-7M up. Decent battery life after a software update too. This was the phone that a majority of the in-store reps preferred, both at the VZW stores and at Costco. I would recommend the Charge. Oh, and the screen is 2nd to none.

Motorola just lost a previously Moto loyalist. But I'm happy with the Charge! Good luck to anyone else waiting. And if anyone is on the fence, just Charge!

I bought the incredible 2 for my 17 year old brother. I was really surprised at the build quality, it's a very nice phone and I got it for $70 bucks at costco with a new 2 year contract. It makes my OG look bad, both screen quality and speed wise.

Now, I wouldn't buy one myself, but he's a kid who will probably lose it or break it within a year, but I was definitely surprised you can get such a nice phone for so cheap.

It's funny, I'm waiting around for 2 years for a decent OG upgrade and it's going to probably cost me $249ish and I don't even like the way it looks lol.

Oh how twisted my view has become of phones.

Motorola is struggling. I agree. I would be weary of their products.

Not Me!!! There products have all been great. Just because they are struggling on the mobile front does not mean they are struggling with their other products. They are still making money from the NFL and other sports.. Just look at the head phones the coaches on the side lines are wearing mostly all of them are Motorola. They always make great products as proven in the past. We forget that they are more then just mobile phones...

I have been waiting since November 2010. I am using a Storm 1. I will wait for this phone. I will not settle for anything less then the Bionic. The only phone that will sway me away is the GS2 and that is if it is 4G. If not I am getting the Bionic.

Did you just say they're doing good because NFL coaches wear their headphones?

lol....

How does 100 coaches wearing their headphones mean they're doing well?

They can't even release a flagship cell phone within a decent time span.

Motorola is the leading technology for MOST emergency services communication.... they also hold a commanding lead on private commercial radio systems... the company themselves are great. Their mobility division might be lagging, but moto is doin just fine

Don't get me wrong, I love Moto, I was literally dying for the OG as I really liked Moto as a company.

I just think in a time where cell phones are the future of socializing and computing, you'd think they'd be focusing their efforts on a flag ship device to prove themselves.

Well most of the people that buy their phones aren't as critical of them as we are. Everyone on this site is probably in the top 20% of the know when it comes to Moto, Verizon, or Android phones. Most people either don't care enough or know enough to be as critical as we are so everything we say and think is really just taken with a grain of salt when it comes to the other 80%.

With that being said, I hope this is a great device. Motorola has spent some serious time working with the Bionic to make it a better phone than what we saw at CES and I think that says a lot about how they are trying to get our trust and loyalty back. I believe they are trying to make the Bionic "the" 4G phone to get across any service provider. They know we know about it and they know we want it so they are probably trying to do the best they can at optimizing it for the general public.

Its never going to be perfect. They need to release it and stop alienating customers. But if they released it willy nilly like the xoom they may have issues. But they have had enough time. There must be some serious conflict with the device. I say 4g and dual core is causing battery problems still.

I don't know why everyone is complaining so much. Once Etna was scrapped and they went Targa the only Reliable release date we have heard is 2 months after Droid 3, which puts it at early September or maybe late August.

If people would stop believing all these Blogs that speculate it will be out next week it will be easier to wait, or not to wait for it.
