blur 3.4.2....

Here is the link to My Droid World for this rom. I have been running this for the better part of a month and i have not and will not switch. I am running the blur rom because I like certain apps like status update.

Try, you'll like (Yo Gabba Gabba voice)

From clockwork if you download the file from tbh app. You can also flash back to 2.3.340 according to p3

Playing with a rooted DroidX is different than playing with a rooted Droid1, what is the tbh app?

Team black hat app in the market. It is a paid app but imo its worth it.

Thanks for rediculously speedy response, might I also ask what the app offers before I support the dev?

Here are some screenshots. It basically has files for you to flash in recovery

There aren't too many but I like being able to flash an sbf in recovery for fresh installs of roms every now and again

Aren't the sbf files just stock images in case something goes wrong? And also if I install something.via tbh app can you back up your current ROM like in Clockwork?

I would imagine these are just stock images but I've never asked p3 about them. The 2.3.340 is a 254mb file as the full sbf file is around 400+ and I would backup before you install anything you are not sure of before you install. I know the window is only 15 minutes now for returning an app so if you want download it and check it out and if you don't want it return it for your cash.

Can you restore a 2.3.340 nandroid from 3.4.2 or do you need to do a full 2.3.340 sbf first? If so does maderstcok.zip work to go back to 2.3.340 from 3.4.2?
Thanks.

ok so I just flashed this and I am getting Booty Loops like no ones business. I'm not trying to knock the build at all but I did it as I would any other ROM. Back up my current state, wipe cache and partition install. Anytime the phone gets cpu intensive it restarts...rather annoying since all I want to do is install Clockwork and restore back up.

another problem...the sbf is considered unrooted therefore you cant easily boot into recovery and restore, you may have to reflash with RSDLite and then restore your backup...

Also the differences in Blur aren't enough to warrant an upgrade, I hope this isn't the final update to the Blur interface. The only thing that stood out different to me is the calender widget, instead of showing the entire month for the calender it is similar to the stock android widget where it lists today's date then any events coming up underneath it. Touching the widget now brings up the calender app which is a nice feature that should have been there anyway...

I hope other people had a more successful attempt at this sbf file

Update: The SBF appears to only reboot if I try to install an app. Once the download is complete (for anything) theres a pause and then a quick reboot.

I believe the music player got a nice upgrade, check it out!

I'm used to the phone being at 30-40% sometimes 50% when I go to bed, and being dead when I wake up because of the phone is constantly going in and out of service. But the past two nights, the phone has only lost 10% both times.

A little off the main topic, but why go to bed without plugging in your phone to charge? Seems like the most logical time to charge.....

I am getting bootloops after every install as well which is starting to get annoying. I wiped data/cache before install after coming from Liberty 1.5. Did someone find a reason why the bootloops are occurring?
