Bug Thread for 2.5.0 - OP UPDATED

I have had to flash the rom 3 times, and even completed a factory reset. I still get redraw using LauncherPro. I get some FC but not to many. I have the same bugs as everyone else has but I have not seen any tremendous differences from BB V.5 with the exception of more options.

If someone knows of any tricks that could help with the redraw I am all ears. I am also have some issues with Handcent. I hope the bugs get fixed I really like this ROM and would like to keep it.

One last thing, I have yet to find the new market app that I thought was part of the ROM download.

I also get the redraws using Launcher Pro as well; not every time, but it is iritating at times. Any assitance would be most appreciated!!

As for the new Market, I flashed NexTheme last night and had the new market this morning.

Try this for the redraw issue. Settings>UD Settings>Performance Settings> Then check off "Lock home in memory" and "Lock messaging in Memory"
If that does not fix or help your re-draw issue, try this link. You will need terminal emulator to run it.

As for the new market click this link from Droid-Life, download the file and install it like an app. Worked for me with no problems.

Had that problem on 2.3 but it was only when I had redman's theme installed. Has not done that on later builds though. Do u have a theme installed?

I had tried it both from stock and with the gingerbread theme..already posted that I had startup checks disabled and once I unchecked the box and restarted the app it worked perfectly dancedroid

This has more or less solved all my redraw issues. Definitely the first thing anyone with issues needs to try.

This issue with the launcher force closing all the time is really getting anoying! I hope we can get a bug free version before gingerbread is released!

Can anyone (who is having market problems) confirm that they've gotten it to install from this link. I've tried to flash (via Recovery) and no luck. After Recovery reboots I have no Market (or Black Market) app in my drawer.

If you did manage to get it to work, please post the procedure you used.

Tried two different ones from this link and still a n ogo for the market. Got it to load up but when I go to download an app it FC everytime..

I placed the zip on my Astro file and moved it to my kernel folder. Booted in recovery and flashed it through clockwork. I haven't had any issues and it is working fine.

oka i might be getting people annoed but i tried various methods on getting pocket god to run on m droid it just force closes b4 it even starts, tried lfy kernel and slayhers kernal and no luck =( an advise? sorry for asking for this so much just havent found a fix yet

I been using Ud 2.1 and themed Luna... So now i went to 2.5 with twist D theme... And my browser keeps force closing... Then it jus reboots it self... WTF... Do you guys no any thing i can do diffent ... Im new at this to... GRRRRR...!:icon_evil:

I got a problem with my wallpapers. I use Flikie HD to download and automatically change my wallpapers. However whenever it changes to a new wallpaper, one of the built-in UD wallpapers takes over my lockscreen. Even when I change the wallpaper in Flikie, the UD wallpaper persists on the lockscreen. If I change to one of the other UD wallpapers, the lockscreen changes to the UD wallpaper I chose. So basically I can only have a UD wallpaper as my lockscreen. This is very annoying, I am about to go back to 2.4.

im pretty new to the game and just rooted. tried steel droid and it was not for me. went with ud 2.5.0 freaking awesome. I have a huge concern though, my apps paid, unpaid, and from the sd card will not always come back. installion unsuccessfull from the market and the sd load will not always install. ive done every wipe and factory reset i care todo!

just thought you should know. Awesome ROM. freaking speeed demon on my d1 and love the boot animes
