Bug Thread for 2.5.0 - OP UPDATED

Not sure it's a bug, but my UD version still reads 2.4.0 but I'm now running Frg83D. I also can't find the option to install the Darkside market anywhere in UD settings.

also, when i turn the display back on it takes 30 seconds or so for data to turn back on. i think they may be related somehow.

You should probably reflash. Those are not regular problems.

i have twice for other reasons. when i originally installed 2.5 i did a factory reset and wiped everything. since then i had to reflash twice for other reasons. this is the first UD version i have had trouble with

You could try this..you have nothing to loose
1. Go back to your last good operating Rom (say 2.4 if everything worked)
2. back up your DATA ONLY (not sure which recovery you're using)
3. Install UD 2.5 and before you reboot flash your 2.4 or whichever data you saved over the new load.

I'm not really up on the incredible phone but if you do this and it works let us know. Any Questions PM me....

P.S. you'll have to put your Market update back in after you do this, and be carefull which LatinIME you use to fix your keyboard, cause one of the ones I downloaded really screwed up my phone force closed all the time so I havent updated my keyboard and prob won't cause I dont use that one anyways. Like the HTC better...

same exact two issues I have. the funny thing is I didn't even come from 2.4. I was running LFYv1.95 before..

LT there is no Darkside Maket app in 2.5 (only Install New Market Update) in Built in Apps. and it doesn't work anyways..

There is a major issue with one of the UD settings that caused my phone to restart and bootloop...when I deactivated the lockscreen (using redmanX theme), it kept bootlooping. I ended up having to do a nandroid restore. Otherwise this is the best rom yet and am sticking with it. It runs very fast and have had no other major issues. Any one else having this problem? I'm getting sick of the lockscreen issue!

My Droid 1 2.5 every time after a reboot when going in Market I have to accept terms of service every time, is there a way of keeping this from happening?

Has anyone else had problems with receiving multiple sms messages? I did a wipe when I installed 2.5 so everything was clear. It started immediately and has calmed down a little but it seems like it gets worse when there is a load on the phone. I don't know if that helps any. I can't imagine it's just my phone that has this problem.

I am having the same issue with text messages. I am using hansent. I also have been having a lot of FC with tthe launcher. Happened on 2.4 also. Didn't matter what launcher I was using. Did it with stock,ADW, and Launcher pro. It is getting very anoying and frustrating. Need a fix for this soon! I wiped data and cache 3x before install of 2.5

Thanks, I just checked, and I have no Market option in there at all. I restored 2.4 and just reflashed 2.5 over it. UD version is still 2.4, but FRG22D changed to FRG83D. I'm thinking I may have to wipe and do a fresh install of 2.5 to see if that does the trick. Really don't want to wipe, so I may just live with it as is.

It seems like the system updated, but that there is an issue with updating the UD settings themselves. I'll try rebooting now and see how that goes.

I have the original droid/"droid1" and the build reads: FRG83D(like it should)..if that's what you're asking..
