BB has a better insurance plan vs VZW imo. 10 dollars a month, no deductible, BB will replace a water damaged phone or one with a cracked screen. You get a new phone vs refurb. Plus, you can cancel anytime and get your money back in a BB gft card. So say 6 months in I cancel, I get 60 back.

thought BB insurance exclude water damaged?

in what ways?

Normally I would get it at the vzn store, but if it's true it'll be at BB on the 14th and the store on the 24th, and I go to the store , I would have to wait til March 4th to get it (going on vacation the 23rd)

A verizon store will usually let you upgrade early if you are going to a smartphone for the first time. Not sure if that makes a difference to you

I buy all of my phones through Best Buy unless they do not have it. I usually buy all mine at full retail. Best Buy will also price match Verizon Corporate unsubsidized pricing as well. I also get the reward zone points.

I've talked to them already, they said Feb 14 is when I can upgrade

what's the difference? I thought the NE2 was an upgrade?

I'm not the primary number so that's why I have no idea about a lot of this stuff

upgrade = eligible for discounted pricing, your contract has run out

new-every-two = you get a $50 (or whatever) discount off the discounted pricing

new every two is only available at Verizon.

you CAN upgrade at a 3rd party (e.g., BB) if your contract is up with their discounted pricing
