And 40GB is $150. Next increase is 60GB but it's $225...way beyond overpriced. If you Edge up with the new plan prices they give you a $10 discount per Edged phone for plans under 10GB per month and $25 per Edged phone for the 10GB and above plans, so 40GB becomes $125 after the $25 discount for one Edged phone. Then there's the per line charge of $40 for data phones and $30 for basic phones.
For me that means with three lines, two with data, Edging up one phone puts me at $150 - $25 + $40 + $40 + $30 = $235 for the 40GB plan plus the $700 phone divided by 24 months which is $29.67 per month or just under $265 per month before any of the taxes and tariffs.
Right now I'm at $215 on 1400 shared minutes in the Friends and Family plan, one phone has 250/month texts for $5, & I have unlimited data on the two smart phones, and that includes the current $20.83 per month that I'm paying in the Edge plan for one MAXX. Last month I used over 24GB combined so the 30GB plan would get me by initially and it would be $30 per month more than I'm spending now but I'd be capped at 30GB. Data usage monthly isn't going down, it's going up so I'd eventually have to move to 40GB as a minimum.
Every time I've tried to justify moving from the plan I have already I come out paying more for less.
