Think I am going back to Koush from Jrummy. Gonna restore my backed-up 5.0.6.1 w/SG and then to 5.0.6.2. Too many little weird things with Jrummy's stuff right now.

Check when your "buds" sent you the messages. 5.0.6.1 has only been out since the 16th (3 days). You may have been using some other ROM.

I am still new to CM so I have a simple question. I have been using 5.0.5.7 and up with smoke-esque themed counterpart. This morning I downloaded .6.2 under the assumption that I need to wait till themes are updated in RM, is this correct?

Yes definitely wait for the theme to get updated coming from 5.0.5.7. The 6.1 themes will probably work (especially if it's just those 2 chagnes) but I'd wait.

I always wait until bgill updates his themes to the corresponding ROM version.

Just tested again: at&t phone and Verizon stock Droid sent pic messages to myself, and each other. They received the messages, I did not.
Yep, running cyanogen 5.0.6.1. (I might have overstated the days)

^bb is correct, newest as of 2.1 release.

I have no clue what the issue is. my only thoughts would be to do a clean install of 5.0.6.2 with data/cache wipe.

Also, Verizon has had some problems with MMS in the past, I remember when my Dare would take a week+ to receive some messages. Also, if you are not in 3g coverage (1x only), your messages will not send/rec. correctly. Only having 1x will occur if you are using a network extender, or are in a valley - however there are random occurrences/inconsistencies in all networks where service can differ. Sometimes, it will be better some days, others it may not hold a call. Weather/humidity/how sap is running in the trees affects all of this.

I would also reboot the phone, switch on and off all radios, airplane mode, and call Voicemail a couple times to "push" the messages through to your phone.

And if all else fails, search how to "sbf phone to 2.0.1"
