epocrates problems

Great job with the rom, 5.0.6.2 looks and works great....except for epocrates.

Epocrates was the first and only app i installed after a wipe data and cache. When starting it, it gets stuck in the loading screen. Same problem as with 5.0.6.0 and 5.0.6.1 Any ideas?

I know this is an odd request but, can anyone describe the default wallpaper for the Cyanogen ROM? Whenever I upgrade (through ROM Manager, wiping data and cache, with Google Add-Ons), once the upgrade completes, the wallpaper is black with a connected UD in the background which just doesn't seem right (I'm coming from a UD ROM previously). Whenever I upgrade (through ROM Manager, wiping data and cache, withOUT Google Add-Ons), I get a live wallpaper (cyanogen-colored) background. I posted this in the UD ---> Koush thread but got no help.

Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think wallpapers are backed by Google's servers. Sounds odd, but after replacing 3 droids, I always had my old wallpaper when my contacts/settings were downloaded again.

Koush mentioned in the 5.0.6 thread I believe (if not, it was the 5.0.6.1 thread) that he is going to toss out an update soon that fixes Epocrates. I found the quote, it is added below.

I removed the configurable Launcher, as that was based off Ruqqq's old launcher code. Me switching to a different launcher is probably causing these issues.

I know what the fix for Epocrates is, I will try to get a build for it this weekend.

Download on ROM Manager is taking a YEAR and a DAY to dl. Oy Vey

Ten minutes just to get ClockworkMod which isn't a large file. The servers must be getting bent from the result of the UD debacle lol.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think wallpapers are backed by Google's servers. Sounds odd, but after replacing 3 droids, I always had my old wallpaper when my contacts/settings were downloaded again.

I think it saves the setting, not as much the wallpaper. As in, if the wallpaper wasn't on your SD card, it won't show up. That's trough personal examination though, I could be wrong.

im running lastest CM with hexfusion theme and i dont have the HQ default nor wireless tether app. i have the wireless tether app .apk and it installed with no problems at all. a HQ default "fix" would be nice!

off topic but, it waould be cool for koush to say under future update.
Example: Cyanogen 5.0.6.2
Stable, no need to wipe data/cache
or Stable, wipe data/cache

just my opinion it would make it easier.

If there was a need to wipe it would be stated... if there isn't anything mentioned then no wipe is needed.

anytime you see the third number updated.... it's only a fix for something small.

the second number is a feature added... the first is a major change and will almost always need a wipe to be on the safe side.
