CyanogenMod for Droid 5.0.5.7

I am using rom manager and i download and it installs but i am missing the google apps.. and i have done it numerous times selecting the google apps before it downloads..

any ideas??

Try downloading the one from the OP and installing it manually.

do i just download and use sprecovery?

also do i flash the google apps zips the same way yopu flash the rom?

better yet are there any walkthroughs on installing cyanogen manually?

Along the same lines... If I manually install CM using the link on the OP, can I use sprecovery? And if so, do I use the update.zip method or nandroid method? Thanks

As far as I know you must user cm. recovery

I'm thinking I'm gonna jump onto CM....
1. can I apply the nextheme? if so how?
2. how do I apply a kernel? (p3s) same as sprecovery?
3. silly questions but I had a bad experience with RM previously and want to be sure I can do this all with the free version of RM.
I am trying to avoid another .sbf flash.

Need advice, i installed 5.0.5.7 and nextheme off rom mgr, everything running like a top untill i try to update roaming, when i move phone away from my face to use keypad its not there, just the option to use speaker phone.

slide keypad open and hit alt then whatever number you want

As far as I know you must user cm. recovery

any walkthrough on that.. DO NOT try to use sprecovery it wont work.. i then tried to wipe and now am stuck at the android touch to begin screen..

nothing will happen..

the kernals are located in the free section, but the nex theme is in the premium section.

The free one does cyanogen related files, the prememium does extras like other ROMs and themes and such. But from everything you mentioned everything can be done w/ RM except the nextheme.
