CM6 final is here!

I really like some of the customizations this ROM provides but it has to be the slowest I've tried. The screen re-draws take forever, even with the cpu at 1.2ghz.

im a 800mhz no screen redraws at all, try wipping it again! i had to wipe this rom more than once to get it to work right the 3rd time was the charm

This ROM in my opinion is the best ROM on the market right now. With all the customizations I ended up removing a bunch of invalidated apps. With the Apps2SD function working flawlessly I have 205MB of free space on my internal which is just beautiful.

Battery life seems to be pretty good and it's snappy on a p3droid 1.25Ghz kernel.

I found my home for some time now

I keep telling people to try this! :)

I believe the only downside to CyanogenMod is that the theming community is very spread out. There is not really a single repository for themes and most of the CM community is generally happy with the stock theme.

Luckily DarkEdge never leaves out CM in it's releases so I have that to look forward to.

Really this is hardly a downside at all to the ROM in general. Just coming from a perspective from a theme-appreciator; CM could really use a source from which to enjoy all themes created for CM.

Mine is pretty snappy with stock 800 Mhz kernel. Did you wipe before flashing?

Also wipe dalvik-cache

I'm having weird market issues on this rom. The market would force close on me or kick me out. Or it would give me a network error. Don't know why. I always wipe cache parition 3x and do a full wipe/factory reset.

I would opt never to use ROM manager to directly install a ROM. Download the ROM from the forums to the sdcard. After that boot into recovery (ClockworkMod).

Go to partitions menu

Wipe system x3
Wipe data x3
Wipe boot x3
Wipe cache x3

Install rom you downloaded from sd card.

If you install a ROM from ROM manger it only wipes data and cache once. Using the method I mentioned above I have never run into the need to reflash a ROM or wipe any more times. Plus if your gunna wipe, why not wipe it completely clean?

This should be the standard method used moving forward for any ROM.

Do you mean go into the partition menu and format each of these items? thanks
