CM6 final is here!

not a single fc from CM6 in the past 2 days. first time Cm user, and i did a full wipe before.

one thing that is odd that i've noticed is that memory usage between CM6 and sapphire is totally different. the non-killable apps and JIT jump to about 90+mb of usage almost immediately after a reboot. but after 2 days, still seems rock solid. on the other hand, sapphire would start at about 50mb, and after 4 days would be at 90mb, and then everything would stop working...

Settings> Wireless and Networks> Mobile Networks> Data Enabled.

If that's checked, try loading the power widget and make sure the option with the up/down arrows is turned on.

If you still don't have service there's a problem. (But you knew that) :)

ding ding ding.. this was my issue. Im good to go.

I'm new to cm 6 and loving it so far. I hope this has not been covered an I missed it, but how do I remove system apps like the stock browser and face book?

i have to say, slight battery issues aside, slayhers kernels are incredibly responsive... never seen my droid fly like this.

I set the governor to interactive and then on sleep the profile switches it to ondemmand to save battery... seems to help a bit.

I had to go back to RC3 because the Bluetooth dialing is broken on this release. I will wait for the next update to see if it is working again.
