Costcos Bionic Deal!!!!

Question about the Costco deal. Wife and I are on the same plan. Her phone is the primary mine is the secondary. She is eligible to upgrade now, I am not able to upgrade until Nov 24. Both of us are eligible for our new every 2 on Nov 24 as well.
If we went to Costco, could we both get the Bionic deal if we agree to extend our existing contract by 2 yrs, or would I not be able to get the Costco deal since according to Verizon, I am not eligible for upgrade until Nov 24? we are both grandfathered with the unlimited data and don't want to do anything to lose that.
All the accessories in this bundle would make it worth upgrading both or our now since the savings would be bigger than the new every 2 discount.

You have to either open a new line or be eligible for the upgrade to get the deal from Costco. So you would either have to wait OR call up Verizon and beg for them to bump up your upgrade date noting that you and your wife want to get the Bionic. They will probably see the dollar signs and allow it...
I got up EARLY and drove an hour to my closest costco. I then sat in the parking lot from 8:30 to 9:30 waiting and playing on my phone. Around 9:30 people started to show up and I had to sign up for membership so I waited the last 30 minutes by the door. No need for me to rush though as I was only one there for the Bionic... lol

Does anyone know how long this Costco deal is going to last? Is this a limited offer only applied to these first shipments, or can we expect it to last a couple weeks? I will probably call in a couple hours when Costco opens, but I just thought I would see if anyone picked up on this information.
I'm pretty sure I want the Bionic, but I also don't mind waiting a week or so to see what some of the early opinions are. That said, I'm also buying into the OG conspiracy theory because I have been having a lot of random issues over the past couple weeks.

Ok so I checked this morning and my store has 9 on order due by 9/13. Most likely after that day. Some stores have 2-3. Most have it on order.
So the stores who have it on order will have it blocked meaning if u call and the check for it, it wont show on the computer. I got retarded lucky before i got kicked. Reason being is to keep the crazyness down. Lol. The first come first serve baises.

So I have a question for all of you guys going through Costco.
Did anyone have issues keeping their existing unlimited data plans? Currently, I have unlimited data and was also fortunate enough to get in on the $140 plan mentioned in this thread: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-news/95195-new-unlimited-plan-big-red.html.
I went into a VZW store yesterday to see if they could match the Costco bundle (which they would not). They told me that they had at least 4 people come in that day who went to Costco and were forced to move to tiered pricing. The folks at the store said there is nothing you can do to get unlimited back.
Now I'm just curious if they said that to me to try and "scare" me into buying from them or if they are just full of it. In any case, a discount on the phone + accessories is not worth losing unlimited data + a sweet plan.
Just wondering what your experiences have been.

The Costco Deal is the sickest thing I've ever heard of. I loved Costco already and loved Super Costco even more, but this deal has sent my love for them over the top. Here is the scoop that we learned yesterday.
I first went to the Verizon store to see what deals they had. They had Bionic in stock and on display. They were giving 25% off accessories if you bought them at the same time as the Bionic. Laptop Dock was not included in that discount. It was $299 with a $100 rebate, so basically $199.
I soooo wanted to buy it there but I'd read about the rumored deal at my beloved Costco so I went straight to the store in Van Nuys, CA at around 1:00pm to confirm the rumored deal was true. Good part, the deal was true! Bad part, they sold out in an hour and a half. The phone kiosk manager, Ken said every Costco in the country only got 6 Droid Bionics. He said they will get another shipment next week and to be there early.
After trying to get by for 2 months with an Original Droid with a half dead touchscreen, there was no way I was giving up that easy. And after seeing that deal there was no way I was settling with buying it from the Verizon store anymore. I was going to drive to every Costco in Southern California if I had to. I called my awesome wife to tell her the bad news and she said she'd call for me to see who had it. She called 15 Costcos (see, I said she was awesome) and they were all SOLD OUT. This was still early afternoon.
The only store that wasn't sold out was Marina Del Rey, CA. That store didn't have them in yet and they said check back on Friday the 9th. I told her that I thought that sounded odd being that every other store in the country had them on September 8 so she called back later and told them that. I guess there was a missed or mixed up pallet or something because after some searching they found them, updated the system and told her to get down their quick!

- Cost of the phone is $299 when it rings up. Then a $20 coupon is applied and you pay $279 plus tax on ONLY THAT AMOUNT. So it was $306 with tax. That is a HUGE DEAL here is California because if you buy it anywhere else, you get charged tax on the full retail price of $589 plus you'd get charged tax on all the accessories. I asked why we were paying tax on only the $279 and they said that's standard for wholesale. Duh! Costco Wholesale. Sweet!
- Costco gives you a 90 day price guarantee! Yes, on the Bionic. So if they do a BOGO or price drop between now and December, we get cash back.
- Costco's 90 day return policy still applies to phones. Verizon is 15 days.
- You get the standard Droid Bionic that includes the manuals and USB power cord like you would buying straight from Verizon. That's where the similarities end.
- Costco gives you a leather case!
- Costco gives you a screen protector!
- Costco gives you a car charger!
- Costco gives you a Standard Dock!
- Costco gives you a Vehicle Car Mount!
- Costco gives you an extra lithium ion battery!
- Costco gives you a charger for the extra battery that included a dock and separate power cord!

I had the same concern as you, so I called Verizon before we got the new phone. They confirmed that Costco is an authorized dealer and that buying the phone from Costco would not change my plan or any of my grandfathered benefits like unlimted 4G LTE data for $29.99. Just to make sure I checked my account online after the purchase and all is good. The only change is now one of my lines shows a picture of the sexy Bionic.
The person at the VZW store may not have been trying to intentionally scare you. They were just misinformed. Just make sure that when you're in Costco to tell them you don't want any plan changes. Just the new phone. Good luck!

1. I had absolutely no problem keeping my unlimited data when I picked up my Bionic at Costco.
2. I was told that I had 14 days to return the phone for a refund, I hope it is longer, that would be nice, but this is what I was told yesterday at Costco by the person that set up my phone...

does costco allow you to use the upgrade status of another line or can you only upgrade the line eligible? I was trying letstalk and they only allow you to get the phone to the line eligible (well, at least the phone has to stay with that line for 6 months). I wanted to see if it was worth the effort going back and forth to costco if I can't even use another line's upgrade anyways. So in this case I'm only stuck with getting it thru vzw.

I was in there with a friend and between the two of us we were looking to pick up 3 Bionics, 3 standard docks, 3 HD docks, and 3 Car docks. I think he just wanted the sale
