MINT is also a very well reviewed Linux Distro. Some say much better than Ubuntu. I stick with Ubuntu though.

Tried booting Ubuntu 10.04 on a VM with Sun Virtual Box... every time I boot the VM it reboots my PC... lol. Not the intended behavior... lol.

I'm gonna move the VDI to the hard drive opposite my Windows OS, shouldn't matter, but can't hurt I guess.


On another note, I heard people are already running 5.0.7 beta... but I think I'll wait for the official release, 5.0.6.2 has been the most solid Cyanogen ROM for me to date.

yeah, i've heard there are MASSIVE issues with 10.04 and VirtualBox.

i don't know, i think ubuntu is going down a bad path. like the replacement of min/max/close buttons on windows, that was just terrible.

on-topic: i'm sure 5.0.7 STABLE will be coming quite soon, now that "official" test builds are starting to happen.

Yea 10.04 still is technically a beta..i have it on disk and have played with it its fast but gets caught up on things when multitasking and slows way down .. i run 9.10 and love it its great .. 10.04 could b better but needs alot of work and theres gunna be a Mint version short after full release of 10.04..If you havnt tried Mint before check it out its alittle smoother and quicker but keeps the same aspects of Ubuntu..
