YES!!!! I can't believe that this was not in the shipping stuff. To be honest, support for a silly email signature in the native email application is one of the reasons I rooted in the first place...

I heard this works change
ro.media.enc.hprof.codec.vid=h264
to
ro.media.eof.codec.vid=m4v

I changed that in the build.prop and it no longer FC's but I can't see the video only the sound.
