My battery life is a bit better. I'm not sure exactly what helped it because I changed my method a bit the last time I flashed. (build 16)
First, I sbf'd (which took forever and was scary...failed 4 times in a row before passing) then wiped/installed cm7 and gapps. I had been doing a batch restore of apps and data with TB the previous times but this time I didn't do that. I just went to the market and downloaded the necessities and a few other things. Then charged to full (waiting for battery calibration app to beep when full), calibrated and then let the battery totally discharge til it died. Overnight it still drained but not nearly as bad as before. I was at 83% after 7 hours of non use (used to be at 60% overnight) Then used my phone at work on Sunday very heavily (trying to discharge it) streamed about 30 minutes of a netflix movie, streamed about the same amount of time from my google music library, browsed the web and market, etc..wifi on the whole time. By the time it died I had about 12h and 15 minutes. Then I charged to full again without interruption. I used it at work moderately today and I went ahead and put it on the charger when I got home but I was at 30% at 10+hours.
So yeah, it's better than before. I have chargers at home, work, and car so I'm not worried about that really but I have yet to be away from chargers for a long period of time and that's what worries me. My wife and I are going to NOLA for Voodoo experience this year and I know we'll be out and about for 12 + hours a day and definitely be using the phone... Hopefully by then battery life will be better or maybe I'll get an extended battery.
I do notice that when at full charge, if I unplug my phone it immediately drops to 99%. same?
Anyway, to all the devs working on this.. Thank you!
