Bootstrap, download the latest nightly and Google apps, reboot into bootstrap recovery.
Format system(ensures clean install), wipe data/cache, install the nightly, install gapps. Reboot, you're done. Oh and don't use bootstrapper after you install cm, messes 2nd init up. Just use hold power, click reboot, select recovery.

sorry guys my bad i thought this was the cm7 for droid 2 not global beta and we had found a way to make it work with like getrdone or something my bad i love cm7 i just need my camera to work haha but thanks for the quick replies

I was up at school yesterday stopping by my house with some stuff to get ready for the semester, but around that area I roam on data as there is no verizon 3g towers but with CM7 I wasn't getting anything, tried a reboot, switched data roaming on/off. Unfortunately I won't be able to test again until school starts but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or not?

I have a question concerning cm7's build in notification power widget.

I wiped dalvik and fixed permissions.

If I toggle wifi off it turns off but if I try to toggle it back on, usually it will say it's connected but I won't be able to browse market, web, etc. If I reboot it's usually fine.

I am charging to full and I am going to SBF and then install the latest build from this morning. After flashing the ROM and google apps should I wipe dalvik and fix permissions then? Or do I wipe dalvik before flashing rom and just fix permissions after flashing?

Switch to global mode and reboot for wifi. Settings might not stick until you revert to cdma/evdo auto though.

Is thecamera mirror problem fixed? Also is there special steps in going from one version to a newer version/

Hmm, I guess I did something wrong this time.

I sbf'd and flashed last night's build. used google apps to install some things and went to the market to get others. Phone is kind of laggy here and there and I can't get my theme chooser theme to stick. I'm on cdma w/evo auto and I have wiped cache, dalvik cache, and fixed permissions. Still, reboot resets.

my question is, do I need to sbf again? or just wipe data/cache and reflash latest?

i had that problem too...but i went into settings checked the box, backed out and rebooted then tried to install a non market app and it worked

Hey guys, my clockwork won't work right now. Trying to create a nandroid backup and it backs up the system and once starts on data it always freezes up, any help?

Since I've flashed to the 7/27 2.3.5 my phone has been laggy. Example, I unlock it and launcher freezes and screen is black except launcher is at bottom. Takes awhile to get it rolling again. any fix's?

well, I sbf'd and reflashed the latest build and all is fine again. well, almost..I can't seem to get netflix to work now. I sign in and try to resume and right when the video starts it kicks me back to the queue screen. I've tried everything I used to do when it gave me trouble, like manage applications>netflix>clear data/cache.
When the last update came out it wouldn't work for me, so I would just cancel when it asked if I wanted to update and it worked. Now I have tried both the older version and let it update and neither works.

Anybody else on the latest build have netflix working?

EDIT: never mind. I uninstalled, reinstalled/wiped data and then rebooted and it works
