[ROM] CyanogenMod 9 [BETA] (DX) (8/19)

Does everyone else's stock keyboard not have the microphone key? I'd like to know if it's just something going on with my phone.

Mine didn't when I was running this rom. Tty and install voice search. Migration fix it. I don't know if its already installed.

It's installed. I use a keyboard from the market that has the mic key, but I was hoping that if the voice key worked on the stock keyboard that I'd get the real time text insertion. Just for kicks of course. I'm sure it wouldn't make the feature any more useful than it already is.

I've never heard the term "migration fix" before. Does it just mean reinstalling something?

@JumperPunk

Did you WipeData? i know that's a simple thing but that ususally helps with the never ending boot animations. it always has for me

I did not do a data wipe one the first install as I was coming from the 01-March build. I did a wipe on everything after reinstalling after an sbf. I actually did it more than once because i did a wipe (cache, dalvik, data) prior to installing, and a stock recovery factory reset after I saw that it was not booting. For now I'm back on Liberty 3x v2.0 until I see that the BT call audio is fixed or I have time to play with boot manager more.

My accelerometer doesn't work. Anyone else have this problem?

Yea mine is too. I'm stuck in portrait, is there a fix for it? I've tried toggling the accelerometer and rebooting and it didn't do anything. I'm also having issues getting service too. I don't get any service where I should be getting full bars of 3G.

Just some notes, the toggle in the drop down menu says 4G not 3G. The new navigation bar is amazing, so customization options. I'd stick with this build if it didn't have these issues.

Also, I've been following the releases pretty regularly, and my battery life is significantly worse on the March 1st build that's up on the OP right now. Is this the place to leave feedback for that kind of thing?[/QUOTE
If you reinstall gapps that should fix the microphone issue.

I flashed the new gummy release today (2012-03-12). It looks & feels great. Seems solid. Very nice. Thanks. A couple of questions...

- Is this the right forum for questions or is there a different thread for gummy?
- I could not get a mobile data connection. Is this a known thing? I flashed over CM9 (r2), only wiping the cache. Would a full wipe/reset make any difference?
- Power button reboot into recovery did not go to CWM - just a warning for folks. Had to go to CWM the 'old fashioned way'.

All in all it's looking great. Looking forward to seeing more progress.

Flashing the new version of the Gummy wiped Gapps. I too have issues with service, I don't think I'm even getting 1x. I may flash back to 03012012r2, it's the most functional of the most recent builds it seems like.

Edit: 9:39 3/13 I reflashed Gapps and they worked fine. I toyed with the toggles and rebooted a few times and got nothing for service. Wifi turns on but I don't have an open network to test it right now. I'm sticking with the 03012012r2 build until I see a lot more functionality and stability.
